Just because it’s iconic, it’s a must do!
The queues for the entry due to safety scanners are a disappointing requirement.
Given what happened down the road, it’s understandable. Get there early or after dark..

I had recent been to Monsoon Midnight cycling or Midnight Cycling Tour with Mischief Treks. This event was a totally awesome experience, its a good way to explore MUMBAI and it's major attractions in a different way. I would like to share the details about the event it starts at 11pm on saturday from Colaba and ends the other day at 4 in the Morning. People who would like to join in for the event can do so by booking it from their Website. Now coming to my experience, we were a bunch of girls who went to the event as we wanted to see the nightlife of mumbai. Earlier our parents were skeptical to let us go out at night but they did allow us and let me tell you guys the event leader made us feel safe throughout the event. We had common names, such a coincidence haha. Jahnvi did exceptionally good on her role, her passion for her work and dedication is really commendable. She and Nitesh from Mischief Treks team managed the entire event well. The event leds were friendly, calm, approachable and helped us to gel up with everyone easily , this made the entire event experience way better. The timing was perfect, event started according to the itinerary and ended on the perfect time. We got to hear alot of stories from the leads. They were really careful about the safety and security of each individual and gave us a safety and instruction briefing before we started the tour. Once everyone reached we got our Cycles. The cycles too were in extremely good conditions.
We started from Colaba around 11:30 and covered places mentioned in their itinerary, like Nariman point, Marine Lines, Girgaon Chowpatty, Hanging Garden, CSMT, Flora Fountain, Asiatic Library, Gateway of India and Taj Hotel. The locations mentioned were covered within time paying proper attention to good amount of break for people to rest. We had some amazing bunch of people with us. We got to know different like minded people on the event, made few new friends, learnt about people and their experiences from different walks of life. They were also particular about small batch size for safety reasons, I loved this idea and many times organisers end up taking 50-100 people on an event and small batch size is a major contributor for good experience.
I'll sum up this review by saying that if you are someone who wishes to experience night life of mumbai whether you are new to mumbai, traveling here for work, or stay in mumbai since long this event is something which you should definitely try. It's worth the time and money invested. Kudos to the Mischief Trek Team for arranging such events. I got to know on the tour that they specialise into treks, camping and tours too and after my NIght cycling experience with them I'm surely looking forward to doing many more events with them.
Hoping you find this review helpful, anyone reading this have a nice day!!

The causeway just really busy with newer shops as well as a street market and plenty of restaurants. It is quite an experience since the place is very packed with stalls on either side of the footpath, so pedestrians have a narrow path to go in either direction. The road is quite busy, but some people were walking on the street side, but you do lose the experience.
The stalls sell a variety of items like clothes and accessories to pans and fruit. The shops are also accessible if you're able to get through the crowds to the store entrances.
There are plenty of things to experience around here and worth a visit if you're in the area, particularly if you have come from the Gateway of India.

We went here about noon, so all the action of the morning was over. Our guide explained what went on and how the whole process was handled. It was interesting. We could see all the boats anchored and waiting for the next day. The fish were gone, but the smell wasn’t! Be prepared to not breathe deeply!

It was very nice. Booking can be done online and onsite. One can book for persons as well as vehicles. Vehicles can drive into the M2M ferry. one can remain inside ones car or move out to the open decks. Snacks are available in enclosed airconditioned sitting area. Around two or three trips per day and per one way. Little more on Papu Mashi The Nomad , title, "Birds & Breeze off the Coast of Mumbai.

This Roman Catholic cathedral is the seat of the Archbishop of Bombay and headquarters of the Archdiocese of Bombay. Opened for worship on 15th Jan, 1905, this Gothic church was designed by Walter Ashridge Chamber of Gosling Chambers and Fritchley. The magnificent glass stained windows behind the altar were imported from Munich. The frescoes on the ceiling depicting scenes from the old and new testament were painted by Brother A. Moscheni SJ.

Quite an oasis given how much of a concrete jungle Mumbai is. May not compare that favourably with gardens in other cities that have more space, but certainly not to be scoffed at. Great sea view!

This is must see point in case you are planning South Mumbai tour esp around Gateway of India . You can take a taxi from GOI to this place for less than Rs 100 . The church has historical importance and has beautiful glass works.

Only spending 2 days in Mumbai, we booked up 3 trips - the street food tour , the slum tour and the heritage walk. All 3 were fantastic and are highly recommended. All the tour leaders were very professional, very friendly, very knowledgeable and just a delight to meet. Knowing that you are also supporting the local community with profits donated is the added bonus.

Ashab is the best tour guide and Jainul the best driver in Mumbai. We spent 5 hours together exploring Mumbai, and the experience was exceptional. With no doubt I would recommend them to enough.

It is the entrance to naval base and hence is high security area. Entry is prohibited and so is photography. Near the gate at the traffic round about is a nice piece of sculpture sculpted from the material recovered from India's first air craft carrier INS Vikrant (commissioned in 1961 at Belfast )
