My favorite was the saffron almond lassi. I also got to learn about the history and the local life. Sahil shared a lot about Mumbai, including details about his life, the customs, and the unique culture of the city. His good understanding of Indian history, religion, and the Karla Caves in Lonavala truly enriched the experience.
One of the highlights was witnessing a vibrant procession at a Hindu temple, which felt like a rare and special glimpse into the local traditions. Sahil also chose a fantastic restaurant for lunchus. Later, he treated me to some local snacks, and we had a wonderfully relaxing time at Tiger Point, enjoying the serene views.
I highly recommend this tour and Sahil as a guide. Our tour guide Max took us to crowded Chowpatty beach for appetizers including a flaming fire pan. Don’t be afraid to try it. We both did. The evening hustle and bustle was great fun. Then we moved on to two other locations for more great Mumbai food, ending up with the best, juiciest chicken tandoori ever and Indian sweets for dessert. You could never have such a genuine introduction to eating like the locals without a tour like this. Thanks to Max and the folks at Linda Tours. - HemaMumbai, India1 contributionI sailed the yatcht StarGazer with my daughter and son on a Sunday evening, sunset time. The boat was very clean was maintained very well. Surprisingly it was an Indian made yacht, assembled at a Mandwa workshop. Very beautiful. The Sailing crew (Uddesh & Kunal) were very warm and very accommodating. They even let my daughter sail the yacht for some time. Booking was very easy and the Oyster sailing team has been very helpful with any and all doubts that I had have.
