I highly recommend this place as Mr Kaushik & family is very professional and highly educated. I can clearly tell they are not after your money..... rather willing to help your situation with 100% honesty and lay out possible options for you to choose from. I was very impressed as Mr Kaushik explained 'conflict of interest' situation related to his business and refrains from any astrological discussion/guidance while supporting your requirement of Gemstones. This family is absolutely trustworthy and definitely deserves your business.
Good Luck Mr Kaushik...Thanks for your help !!!

Long market street selling low quality copies of famous brands. Not as much variety as you would expect

Tends to be a very busy and crowded area during most of the day. Lots of sightseers and tourists looking fir souvenirs and goods at discounted prices. The quality of goods offered is higher than the larger market area close to the main railway station.

The Bombay store is pretty easy to find. It has a wide selection of items to purchase and at a reasonable price. There is no haggling which was useful for us

Walking down the market is an experience, particularly when it is really busy. The stalls on either side of the footpath mean there is only a small path for pedestrians to walk along, going in both directions. It is really bustling at night and really busy, so getting around can get quite tiresome. It's nice to try a few times but it does get a bit annoying after having to do it multiple times.
The variety of stalls was quite interesting and there were also shops which were open. You do need to manoeuvre a bit to get into the entrance of the stores. It is worth trying it once just to experience it but just be wary of pickpockets as you do get quite close to other people.
There is also a food market just off the main street which was interesting.

I took my aunts for Saree shopping here based on recommendations from friends. On a saturday morning, we had breakfast at Ram-shray and took a kali-peeli to hind mata. Its a one km long street from the dadar station at north to Hindmata flyover at south, mainly for Sarees. There are more than 100 stores, small and big offering wide variety of Sarees. Most of the shops were opening for the day's business as we reached around 10:30 am. There are lots of small stores, which mainly caters to other retailers who buy whole sale. They might not give you the attention you need if you are there for street side bargain shopping. The most famous shops in the street are , BharatKshetra and Artview as per my friends, and we decided to check out both. BharatKshetra is a huge fancy place at the center of the street with 3 shops catering to different segments. They cater mainly to rich affluent class and is likely to be rude with you if they feel that you are not ready to spend around 5-10k. Artview is a smaller but good place with a small front facade, with large collections. There are few more shops that are good. You can distinguish the fancier ones from the ordinary ones by seeing if you can see a person with bags standing in front of the store to keep your footwear against a token.! Overall, a good experience for anyone who wants to spend saree shopping in Mumbai.

I had the pleasure of stepping into this charming classic bookstore. Devoid of inexpensive trinkets and flashy posters that you now find in chain bookstores, it embodied the essence of a back-to-basics bookstore. With its remarkable collection and a delightful little cafe tucked away at the back, the experience was truly enchanting. I cherished every moment and only wished I had more time to revisit this exceptional store.

Recommended for shopping, but you have to bargain a lot. sometimes the seller tend to exagerate with the price, like increasing it by 3 4 times. Nevertheless, you will surely get good stuffs there if you know how to bargain. If you find the price too high as per the product, just leave it and go, you will surely get it at a better place ahead.

I absolutely loved this shop. Lots of wonderful and unique artistic treasures to be found here, especially if you appreciate stationary. The store manager was super friendly and solicitous.

A very pleasant tea tasting session with a wide variety of well-chosen teas. There was no charge for the session and there was a wide variety of teas to purchase in the shop.

Everything was excellent. Venue is great, so is food and Mocktail. Everyone just loved the venue and the food. Staff was very friendly and management was very helpful. Special thanks to Surya and will highly recommend Kino Cottage for wedding, Sangeet, Haldi or any celebration.

We visited this beautiful shop yesterday after looking for some traditional and authentic souvenirs of our trip. We came out with quite a few items including a beautiful small decorative table, ornaments, jewellery and fabric. Couldn't fault the staff who helped us and packed our items well. Their items are just lovely and definitely wonderful pieces to take home of our amazing trip to India!
We visited from UK, Wirral. My dad, son and me.
