I had planned to have a session with her for 1 hour but didn't realize how we spoke for 3 hours straight. I loved her broad spectrum of thoughts and that she didn't impose her readings or opinions on me. She gave me options and practical options and made me choose what's best for me. That was the best part. It was so so good to talk and have an insight on how you should improve yourself each day and become a better version of yourself. I had such a peaceful sleep after this session that I might not had that kind of sleep in months or years too. Payal is really really good and I would highly recommend her not just on the basis of her tarrot readings but also on the way she talks to you and counsels you. Thank you so much Payal. I loved the session and looking forward for some more.

I absolutely loved this shop. Lots of wonderful and unique artistic treasures to be found here, especially if you appreciate stationary. The store manager was super friendly and solicitous.

We were in India in 2012 and all our shopping was done in markets. Haggling was an art I’m not sure I mastered, but it was fun. March 2020 was altogether different with many stores and markets closed due to Covid even if you wanted to go down that road. The Bombay Store prices are not cheap by Indian standards, but the quality of their products is guaranteed. There’s a huge array of souvenirs etc to choose from and I was grateful they were open, but I did miss the colour and life of the many bazaars we visited in 2012.

This is a street market. Good for low cost casual wear fashion items for females only. Hardly 2-3 shops were for men's clothing.

I wanted to buy earrings to take back with me as gifts--and I was lucky enough to shop here my last day in India. My taste tends to be more simple than the average earrings that are sold elsewhere. Avante had a large collection of silver earrings that were of traditional designs but not as elaborate as a found elsewhere. The price was between $10 to $20 a pair so great for gifts. The salesperson was also very nice. Very low pressure and helpful. I also like the idea that the store is a fair wage store--resourced from the artisans themselves.

Long market street selling low quality copies of famous brands. Not as much variety as you would expect

Looking for local shops selling bangles, bracelets, shawls, clothing and many other local products? Colaba Market in Mumbai is the best option! You have to bargain but they have great options and the best deals...if you stay at Taj Colaba you can walk there and get to Colaba Causeway...Or you can ask your taxi driver to leave you at Colaba Market close to leopold Cafè..
Rules are easy: always bargain and offer half of the price requested and then find a price agreement halfway...If you work like this, you'll bring home the most beautiful bracelets, trousers, dresses in town! Warning: it is very crowded though. Watch your wallets and purses for pickpockets.

I absolutely loved my time in the store - I thought that we would do a quick browse and maybe get one tea - we spent about 45min in the store enjoying a tasting experience and left with a teapot and about 10 different teas.
The store is beautiful with wonderful selection of teas. The staff are fantastic! They really know about tea, but also tell you about the history around the product and the region of origin. The staff were friendly, well informed and patient. This place is one of the highlights of my vacation to India.

Had my sister's wedding planned here. It was beautifully executed. The whole thing was just amazing. Loved the whole experience. Would definitely recommend.
Only flip side is the proximity to the sea causing the stench of dead fishes reaching upto the venue.
    However the inside is amazing

Crossword is readers delight. The rather large bookstore offers a very large range of books, on almost every subject and for all ages. It also offers a range of toys and games for both toddlers and grownups. All in all a very convenient store.
