I had an excellent experience at Gateway Of India. The staff was professional and provided good service. The guide was knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable.I visited Gateway Of India and was disappointed with the poor service. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. It took a long time to get any assistance, and the overall experience was quite frustrating. I hope they can improve their service for future visitors.Gateway of India is a stunning historical monument with clean facilities and knowledgeable guides. The booking process was easy, but some areas were untidy. Overall, it was a delightful visit with informative insights into Mumbai`s history.

Marine Drive is a 3.5km long promenade having the Northern end at Girgaon Chowpatty and southern tip is at Nariman Point. Girgaon Chowpatty Beach is famous for local fast food specially Bhel Puri. The promenade is lined with palm trees and has several road side food carts and stalls serving Vada Pao, Sandwich, Ice Cream, Soft Drinks et. Marine Drive is 24 hours vibrant & lively place having people of all ages enjoy the walking, sitting, relaxing and eating there along the sea side with cool breeze blowing along with beautiful view of Arabian Sea. Several Five Star Hotels, other smaller hotels, Cricket Club of India, Wankhede and Brabourne Cricket Stadium, Air India Building etc. attracts the visitors while strolling there. View of sunset in Arabian Sea is a mesmerizing experience. I will recommend it as a must visit place in Mumbai. We enjoyed the time spend there a lot.

It is indeed a blessing to be there.
It's a great place to be at .
The cabs drop you right at the temple entrance and it's a very well regulated process for darshan .
It appears that best time rush wise would be 1300 hrs to 1600 hrs .
Following would help the first timers :-
    1. For shoes there are no lockers however open metal racks are available close to the entrance as well as once one gets inside the temple premises. Shoes can be put there at the owners risk and most of the devotees do that. Alternatively shops in the periphery offer to keep the shoes etc in safe custody. They are good and reasonable . No forcing no demand for money for that service. At the entrance there is a locker service to keep valuables .I am not sure if the service is chargeable.
    2. There is no restriction in the carriage of mobiles , bags etc . One has to put belongings in the baggage scanner at the entrance. It is advisable to carry a water bottle especially during the summer months . One can cross this area wearing shoes and then look for a place to keep shoes .
    3. Prasad laddoos are given one per head at the exit . Otherwise there is a mandir trust counter where extra Prasad can be requested for very nominal charges. Other prasad can also be bought from sweet shops inside the premises .
    4. For darshan there are three options :-
    a) Normal Darshan -It may take anything between 30 min to an hour depending upon time of day . The queue area is clean and has fans all over .
    b) Priority Darshan - One needs to pay Rs 100/- head and the wait time as compared to that in Normal Darshan comes down to almost half or one third . There are proper counters that would provide a receipt for money given.
    c) Ashirvachan- By paying Rs 1500/- one can avail this darshan. It's almost walk in and 04 persons can go in one slip. One gets a box of Prasad and a scarf when going in for this . There are temple trust offices to facilitate this service.
5.Overall amazing management and excellent darshan . Very helpful staff to guide . The shopkeepers around are helpful and they advice and provide all genuine information.
    Blessed to be there
May Lord Ganpati bless all of us .
    🙏🙏

Boy what a building. Very very busy place. Worth having a walk around.
Watch out for rip off taxi fares from here. We walked away and ordered an Uber for a quarter of the price.
The toilets are an experience some European people may find a shock 😲

We organised our own trip to the Elephanta Caves and enjoyed the experience. We bought a ferry ticket (290 rupees return) from a vendor next to India gate and boarded the ferry. Journey time to the island was an hour. We were surprised to be charged a 5 rupee 'passenger tax' prior to the fifteen minute walk to the caves.

Entrance fee to the caves was 600 rupees for foreign visitors and only cash was accepted. We explored the caves for about half an hour, bought a souvenir, saw some monkeys and had a drink before getting the ferry back to India gate.

Recommended as a half day trip to escape the hustle and bustle of Mumbai.

The Bandra Worli Sea Link is an architectural masterpiece that beautifully connects Mumbai's skyline. By day, it stands as a symbol of engineering brilliance, and by night, the illuminated lights create a mesmerizing experience, making it a must see landmark.

Wednesday 1st March and we took the train from Santa Cruz to Churchgate in the heart of Mumbai.

From the Station we walked to Colaba, which is situated at the southern tip of the City.

We walked along enjoying the sights and the atmosphere of the City. It took us about an hour as we stopped so many times to have a look at something of interest.

Colabo combines all elements and aspects of life from top hotels, historic monuments, art galleries to a bustling street market. It is a diverse neighborhood across the spectrum of life from the affluent to the Bohemian and street life.

There are a number of famous landmarks and points of interest here, including the Gateway of India, Taj Mahal Hotel, Leopolds Cafe and Colaba Causeway.

From the port area, by the Gateway to India, lots of small boats provide a ferry service to the wonderful Elephanta Island.

I stayed at the JW Marriott Juhu and had a fabulous stay. Service was great and I felt like the surrounding area was accessible and fairly easy to navigate. I used Uber to get to Bandra for shopping and had dinner at On Toes in Juhu for excellent Indian food and drinks! Juhu is very lively. Even on a Monday evening there were crowds of people on the beach for sunset.

A very nice place, located at a private houses street. If you spend some time in Mumbai you should pay a visit.
The house is well maintained and inside you’ll find some of Gandhi’s daily stuff and tools. The library is very impressive as well.
Yiu can visit the famous balcony where a famous picture of Gandhi and sone of his colleagues was taken. But the best part is the upper floor where you can easily review Gandhi’s most important moments and understand who he was, what was motivating him and how he did it.
    Very inspiring visit.
