Tickets price are 550 rupees if you pay by card, and there are plenty of guides next to the entry that would give a tour for 300 rupees or even less if you bargain. Interesting site, construction started in 11th century and it is very well conserved and even restored.

The architecture inside is just astonishing, the sense of the detail, the marble work, the dorures, it is just sublime. There is a very nice ludic path to understand the story behind this philosophy. No phones are allowed inside the the whole perimeter of the temple

My visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib was a truly serene experience. As I entered this revered Sikh house of worship, a sense of calm enveloped me. The Gurudwara's immaculate cleanliness stood out prominently, reflecting the devotion to maintaining a pristine environment for all visitors.

The peaceful ambience was palpable, offering a tranquil refuge amidst the hustle and bustle of New Delhi. The spiritual aura and the soothing sounds of hymns created an atmosphere conducive to introspection and solace.

Beyond being a place of religious significance, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib stood as a testament to hospitality, serving free meals to all, irrespective of faith or background, through its langar, a communal kitchen.

Overall, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is not just a place of worship; it's a haven of cleanliness, peace, and inclusivity—a must-visit for those seeking spiritual tranquility in the heart of New Delhi.

The whole area around the India Gate is interesting. You have the arch itself, and then beyond is the war memorial and beyond that is the memorial to those who died in the Indo -Pakistani conflict. Everything makes a tight visual unit and is impressive. There is a parking lot close by for convenience.

Placed along spacious grounds and gardens, this temple is like a floating lotus plant nested in a pond. After a fairly long walk, you get to a point where you must remove your shoes and place them in a provided bag and check it. There is a traffic jam here. Then you can enter the temple, although you must wait until an appropriate time when they let a group in at once. Once inside there are no photos allowed. You don't stay more than ten minutes because it's empty inside. Again, there will be a traffic jam to get your shoes.

When we go there we have multiple choices to eat along with the work we want go there to do. This time we visited Favwara Chowk and have Fruit Cream just outside the Gurudwara. Delicious sweet taste that you will always remember for years to come. You can drive your car after 9pm in Chandni Chowk. Chandni Chowk is redeveloped few years back.

This fort is massively impressive from the outside and a bit of a letdown on the inside. Some of the buildings look very worn out and in bad need of restoration. Still it gives you a good idea of the golden age of the Mughal empire. There is an excellent series of souvenir shops as you enter the fort that are worth browsing.

While on a school trip, our students visited the Gandhi Smriti Museum to learn more about Gandhi's life and final months in India. The museum is very detailed and well curated. The grounds are well kept too. Make sure you visit this museum to learn more about Gandhi's life when you are visiting Delhi.

Located right in the heart of the New Delhi, Connaught place is a busting hive of activity. Before the bazaars, stalls and dining establishments sprouted around Connaught place, the area was all about Cinemas. In the 1920's it wasn't Bollywood and Hollywood shows that has the spotlight. It was built under British rule between 1929 and 1933. Robert Tor Russell designed this British Commercial center in collaboration with W H Nicholls. It is Circular and known as the largest commercial hub of its king in India.
It was named after Prince Arthur, 1st Duke of Connaught, third son of Queen Victoria and uncle of King George VI of England, who visited India in 1921.
The area in and around Connaught place is a shopper's Paradise. The Market is divided into two circles. Inner circle and outer circle. The inner circle comprises of Blocks A to F. All Major brands outlets are available in Inner Circle. The outer Circle of Connaught place consist of Block G to P having all big Show rooms.
