As part of our tour we were taken on a three wheel tuk tuk ride down this crowded, cramped street/alley. Probably no more than a couple of metres wide.
The lane was lined either sides by very small shops selling mainly women’s clothing

This area was built in the 17th century and includes the India’s largest wholesale markets

Tourists are taken down through this famous market in a three wheel rickshaw. It is crowded and there is really insufficient time to take it all in.constantly hitting holes and bumps in the alley , and narrowly missing similar vehicles coming the other way.

Once out of this "tourist run" the rest of the tour through the bazaar was relatively interesting. Many spices shops, and small enterprises all trading mainly with locals

The btuktuk ride really could be dispensed with. A total walking tour would provide more insitre to this bustling and colourful area

Tried the Mutton Galouti Kebabs at Sassy Begum in Selct Citywalk. They were absolutely melt-in-your-mouth and take-you-straight-to-heaven good. Hands down the best kebabs in Delhi

The visit to this market was recommended to us by a local person. We took Uber from our hotel ready to explore. There is an entrance fee one has to pay to enter, higher for foreigners. The market is fenced in and perhaps safer that way than an open street. It is truly impressive, colorful and vibrant. Excellent shopping but some pressure and the need to bargain are still a part of reality here. Beautiful dresses, pashminas, bags, jewelry, souvenirs etc. There are also many restaurants with Indian cuisine.
This is a shopping mecca of Delhi but even if you just want to explore this colorful destination is a worthy attraction for most.

A must see modern attraction....great architecture and best thing - it's not awfully crowded like Select Citywalk mall in Saket! Good place to roam, shop, eat on a Sunday evening.

I visit the Lajpat Nagar central market for the first time. I find it a little rush area. I might get stuck in the market if I do not have a PARK+ app with me for parking. But it is a great place to buy quality products at the best price. If you are looking for the same, it is a perfect place for you.

I was surprised to see the selection of stores and the amount of people that visit this mall.
It has large selection of dining, shopping and entertainment joints to keep you entertained and well fed.
It has most of the big brands in house.
Only downside is I was unable to find a pharmacy in the whole mall.

It was a pleasure to spend an afternoon strolling and browsing in this beautiful mall. It is mostly outdoors but parts like food court are underground or indoors. Many stores and restaurants, sculptures and exhibits.

Truly had a wonderful experience at their store. The best part is that they have a huge collection to choose from. It was not a difficult task to choose an artwork from their collection. They’re really affordable too.
