- Jessie S26 contributionsNice zoo, many animals. Trees and flowers make it a pleasent experience. The bar/food was closed. But you can buy drinks in a little shop nearby. Friendly staff. Pay with card or in local cash. Family visit was about 10 euro for 4.Written 25 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelerTreckerHouston827 contributionsA young Serbian man from the front desk at the hotel strongly recommended to me to visit the Lake Palic as the day was beautiful! After visiting Subotica, I drove my rental car to the lake for maybe 10 minutes. There is a good free parking area. I am glad because I went. The lake looked stunning! The landscape is very nice. There are several art nouveau buildings (the hotel) that together with the city hall, the synagogue, the blue fountain, and the Raichle palace make of Subotica a very lovely town.Written 4 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FloreArad, Romania1,710 contributionsProbably, 100 years ago, this was the place where the women allowed to swim in the lake. Now here is the wonderful coffee shop and I recommend you to have a coffee on the terrace overlooking the lake.Written 22 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FloreArad, Romania1,710 contributionsPalic Nature Park starts from the Water Tower (a wonderful achievement in the Art-Nouveau style) and continues with newly renovated pedestrian alleys. Next, you will see the Grand Terrace (another achievement in the Art-Nouveau style) and it ends at the lake where there is another Art-Nouveau – Ladies bath. All park is a unique combination of natural and arhitectural heritage.Written 22 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FloreArad, Romania1,710 contributionsAs in the City of Subotica, and in Palic there are numerous constructions in the Art-Nouveau style. The Grand Terrace is one of them and you cannot miss it because it is in the center of the resort. - FloreArad, Romania1,710 contributionsIn the Tourist Guide Palic, I read that the two vases, with the image of Water-God, came as a gift in 1910. These type of veses used to decorate the park in the city of Vienna. The vases have a light blue color, they are about 1 meter high and is allowed to photografy them.Written 22 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
