Located in Kintamani, about 90 minutes from Ubud by car, Batur is an active volcano. Though it has not erupted in about 25 years, it is a popular place for hikers.

If you want to see only the mountain, Kintamani has a good viewpoint. Next to it, you can see also the crater lake.

This is a large temple with very beautiful natural views, the atmosphere is still very beautiful, the ancient Balinese design, with a large and comfortable parking area, ticket prices are very affordable. So we are very happy to visit this Kehen Temple🙏

Was a long but a beautiful ride from Jimbaran. We did it in a two wheeler and it was an experience in itself. Took us 2 and bit hours to get there.

The lake in itself is a great sight from the top but it was done in 5 mins. Since we did not do the hike of the Mt Batur not sure if it was worth the effort for just 5 mins. We went for the hot springs but it was really dirty and we did not even go in. It’s only worth it if you are hiking.

come here solo hiking when rainy season. Amazing place, quiet, and gorgeous. From park area to Post 1 is easier, but from post 1 to peak bit challenging especially during rainy season. If you a beginner this mountain is recommended but please climb on Summer season

Very small place, interresting and unique story. Short visit (we stayed 20min and asked many questions)
The boat was 785 000 rupiah for 2, which is a shame because the boat was really unsafe.
+ they wanted us to pay 1 million (total) for donation but they can't explain you where the money is going. We paid only 800 000 total, which is to expensive anyway

Visited Ulun Danu Temple, and on the way back, we decided to stop by to try the Luwak coffee—what a great surprise! The experience included a free tasting of various teas and coffees. The Luwak coffee costs 60,000 per person. It was worth it! Overall, a lovely experience.
