    Great experience! I feel fortunate to have found Narinder Uppal when I was visiting the Golden Temple. At first, I thought I'd try to do the Wagah border excursion on my own, and didn't plan ahead or research the particulars, but you really do need a guide, which makes it much easier and more enjoyable. Narinder made my border visit easy for me to accomplish and has many tips and advisories on how to avoid long lines, where to sit, when to show your passport to the military guards who oversee the whole operation, and also when to leave to avoid long lines departing the complex. Narinder has been a guide since he was 16 (his dad started the biz) and he is from Amritsar so he knows his way around like the back of his hand. His English is excellent, his demeanor so pleasant, and if you're going to spend time with a guide, you'll be glad you have him. He has an excellent auto with strong AC, which you will want! Overall, I'd say that he is the best guide I've had in India!

    Exceptional
    This was a great tour and a must do if you have limited time in Amritsar. The extraordinary value that you get from this company and its guides is the historical, cultural and religious context of the city and Sikh religion, making the experience rich, memorable and highly educational. What I very much appreciate about the guides is that they genuinely care about your needs of the tour, and will adjust as needed to ensure you are fully satisfied. I highly recommend this full day tour if you want to get the most out of your Amritsar visit! I certainly plan to use this company again for my future trip to the Himalayas. Sincerely, Sofian

    Historical!
    The Golden Temple Tour was very historical. Our guide Ravish Mehra was very courteous and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make sure we saw everything in this heritage walk.

    AMAZING
    It was absolutely amazing, I cannot recommend it highly enough!

    Please do this tour on your first full day in Amritsar, it is a great way to appreciate and ease into the city

    Narinder is the Best........
    We had the most remarkable tour with Narinder, Not only was everything perfect, but we felt, in every instance, that Narinder truly cared about us, and he did this best to make this trip memorable. For our well-travelled friends this has become the most eye-opening, adventurous, and stunning journey of their lives - something we will remember, draw upon, and cherish for many years to come. We were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of our trip: from neolithic archaeological sites to the Golden Temple, Baga Border, and a typical Indian village. Narinder was very pleasant and had a vast knowledge of the Punjab and came out with amazing facts. If you pick a tour for the Golden Temple, Baga Border and seeing a village, Please Please choose Narinder he’s the best.

    A Good Alternative for Your Indian Touring
    A low-key alternative to most days in a large Indian city. Communication with the tour operator (Triptivo) was haphazard, and I finally had to reach out to them, then received an email with the wrong pick-up time. However, Taxi driver picked me up at 9:30, drove about 30 km. to a lovely farm and farmstay N. of Amritsar. There the host (Jeet?) welcomed me, offered some chai, we toured his farm (and sampled some of his produce), walked the nearby village, probably typical of many in that region; I plowed part of his field on his small tractor; and had an abundant lunch -- perhaps the best Indian food of my entire 19 days in India, prepared by host's wife. Driven back to town by same driver. Altogether, an excellent alternative to another day in the big city.
