Very nice tour with Maria’s guide. Nice walk in the tea plantation with complete experience of the process and the plants in the area. The visit of the fabric was very interesting too. Worth the experience to understand how tea is done.

The tour was amazing. Our guide Surya was very nice, and provided excellent service. We were walking through tea plantations, cardamom plantation, waterfalls. Surya is knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. Lunch was tasty. We saw a lot of beautiful places, took so many pictures and the highlight of the tour was seeing the elephant family with a baby elephant. That was really amazing. Thank you.

We had an amazing day with Vijay, who took us on an amazing hike through the stunning tea fields in Munnar and the Mountains near old Munnar. We also spotted three wild bisons and many wild fruits and plants! Thanks a lot Vijay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three day trip to Munnar. Stanley at Wilson Tours organized a hike, tea tour and visit of the markets in Munnar. We had lots of time to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery in the mountains over and through the emerald tea plantations. Our driver Ubaid was top notch. His driving made us feel safe and his friendly and helpful manner made our trip most enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this company to our family and friends.

We took the sunrise tour and were promptly picked up by Mani at 4:30am and taken to Top Point where we left the car behind and trekked to a spot where the views of the sun rising were out of this world. When I look at my pictures, even I can’t believe they are real! Mani was an excellent driver and guide, pointing out animals on the way and back and full of information about Munnar. Truly a memorable experience!! The walk back through the plantations was beautiful and Mani took so many great photos for us to remember this special experience.

If you're looking to explore all Kerala has to offer, look no further than Iris Holidays. I booked a 2 person, 5 night stay in Kerala online and have nothing but amazing things to say. Read further for specifics :)

Communication and payment before and during the tour was easy and prompt. Despite a flight delay, connection with Mr. Afsal, our driver for the week, at the Cochin airport was simple and easy. Mr. Afsal was an excellent driver, and friendly tour guide offering us tidbits of knowledge throughout the 5 nights- by the end of the trip we were laughing together! He safely escorted us to each excursion and hotel- including navigating markets and local shows- and selected excellent restaurants for us to explore local cuisine. Mr. Afsal made sure to help fufil every request throughout the 5 days- from seeking ATMs, bathrooms along the route, finding stores for us to purchase wine for our house boat adventure, partaking in the local toddy and souvenir shopping. We are incredibly thankful Mr. Afsal was our driver and helped us experience Kerala completely stress free.

All hotels and staff were extremely pleasant. The captain Kunujmon and chef Ajith on our houseboat in Alleppey were exceptional and deserve a special mention. The food on the black pearl cruise was the best we had since arriving in India! We took a mini boat cruise along the backwaters, enjoyed the local fish market and even got to drive the boat for a bit. They made us feel special and ensured a wonderful adventure in Alleppey.

Thank you Iris Holidays for making all of our Kerala dreams come true, as well as the ones we didn't even know we had!

Wonderful way to see a side of Munnar rarely viewed! Started on time with Mukesh. We walked thru a side street quickly gaining elevation thru Tea plantations and onto the highest point. Saw tea leaves being harvested and Mukesh also shared stories of tea plantations and various fauna and flora. Mukesh also pointed out various water reserves and hydro projects seen from the highest point. Baring a few spots the hike is a nice walk thru different landscapes.
It was a great way to see a side of Munnar away from the Tourists!

I had a fabulous day out to Munnar, had excellent stops for breaks on the way, including a lovely breakfast and then interesting walk around spice / medicinal gardens with a very well informed guide, Julie.

My driver Mithun stopped off at other various stops and was happy to pull over for additional photo opportunities at my request. The tour around the tea plantations was amazing, he knew all the best view points! Was a very friendly, but courteous guy and I’m now planning to return to Munnar later during my stay in Kerala to Munnarinfo.in hotel and go on their walking tours.

Kumar was our guide and he was really great! We walked through the tea fields, up into the hill tops, down through the jungle and back into the tea fields. Some really great views and good range of things to see. Kumar told us all about the plants we saw and the areas we walked through. Breakfast and lunch were both very tasty! In the end it was a really enjoyable day.

Our guide, Mr. Raja was so kind and knowledgeable. He explained everything from start to finish- how tea leaves are picked and processed, how the tea fields are managed, and also pointed out different types of other plants on our hike. To top it off, he took us to a private sunset photo spot (no crowds at all) and brought us some hot tea to finish off the tour. Such an amazing experience- would highly recommend Mr. Raja aka Mr. King.

Had the most amazing time trekking through the plantations with Philip. His knowledge of the area was fantastic and we loved his extensive facts about all the flora and fauna around us. He was charming and chatty and would 150% recommend to anyone considering this tour!
