The beach of the feature is a typically Brazilian beach, There you can buy coconut water at a cheap price, And to eat a good Brazilian shrimp fished by artisanal fishermen

Amazing view of the city Fortaleza. Great sand. And good place to get a nice shot of the city. A bit windy at the end of the of the molo! But this is a place to see if you are in town.

Lots of options of local handcrafted goods such as “Renda de Bilro”. The market is huge. But careful: there are lots of stores selling Chinese products instead.

Very big shopping mall with multiple options from big brands to all kinds of food in the food court. It's a good choice if you have kids.

We had an amazing day at the aguas belas beach!!
I recommend going with an organized tour as they explain everything and bring you to the nicest places.

Only „negative“ point is, that you have to book a buggy tour to get to see the official aguas belas. But for 70 Reais per person it‘s totally worth the trip!!

On Saturday night it was seriously busy and lively, but not in a bad way. Pretty good selection of both mass-produced and hand-crafted goods. Not an incredible amount of variety between the shops. More interesting than the grand Central Market.

The most popular collection of barracas in the city may soon be history. Just like the Copacabana beach in Rio, the city is remodeling the area to squeeze out more tourist money. Hopefully they will modernize the facilities, but at the cost of the individuality of each place, leaving a sterile soulless locale. Also expect travel problems as they slowly move on the street repairs. Fortunately, Fortaleza has other less commercialized stretches of beaches.

Dragão do Mar is a local hero. The state of Ceará build a Cultural Center to honor his story. There are so many art pieces that I highly recommend a visit. As far as I remember we didn't expend any money to visit it.

Brazilians are crazy of football and in Fortaleza with several teams you must go to Arena Castelão and experience this. A good area with good views from almost every seat. Have fun!

This is one of the largest and most modern of the malls in Fortaleza and probably one of my favourites as it is quite easy to navigate and has the benefit of a hypermarket as part of the complex. Free wifi is available but you need a passport or ID number to log on

The Ponte dos Ingleses (Ingleses Bridge) is partially dilapidated and not fully accessible. However, it is a good spot for taking pictures of the Fortaleza skyline and beautiful sunsets. Moropver, Ingleses Bridge is located in one of the oldest and most colorful neighborhoods of Fortaleza. The brightly colored houses convey an almost Caribbean feeling. However, be careful when walking around here in the dark.
