As members of the 20-strong Anglo-Thai Society Regional Tour, my wife and myself visited the Petronas Twin Towers this morning.

It goes without saying that any visitor to KL who doesn’t spend at least some time at the Twin Towers (and the closer the better) hasn’t really visited the City!!

Believe me the Twin Towers are impressive - no matter how many times one sees them!!

Great place to spend a few hours. Tons of beautiful trees and shade. A very nice park to walk around at the base of The Twin Towers. There’s also a wading ponds you and the kids can walk around in and stay cool. It’s free of charge.

I enjoyed coming down here and having a lovely seafood dinner and drink here. Although the restaurants are a little pricier than normal I think it's worth it to enjoy the atmosphere.

Great shopping mall. Great variety of stores, especially high end.
Great way to spend the day and the food republic was great for lunch and dinner. The Mon, Chinese beef roti is my absolute favourite and is a must try, along with the cinnamon sugar pretzel from Aunty Anne’s. The Mercato is a great supermarket to pick up any necessities. Love that there is a walkway/bridge to KLCC park and petronas towers through the ground level of the centre. Chinese new year decorations were also beautiful.

A stunning and vibrant Chinese temple, adorned with intricate carvings and vibrant colors, exudes a sense of tranquility and peace. The harmonious blend of rich reds, deep golds, and serene greens creates an inviting atmosphere, inviting visitors to experience its spiritual beauty. Soft sunlight filters through the ornate rooftops, casting gentle shadows on the peaceful grounds, while the soothing sounds of nature enhance its serene ambiance.

We spent a couple hours in this mall when it was raining. It’s massive with a lot of high end stores. There are several restaurants along with a good size food court that seemed to specialize in Asian dishes.

I did the twin towers years ago so thought I better do this one. It's worth it once although a bit expensive I think. In trip.com I bought a ticket for 90 ringgit and at the door it's 110. So buy online. It's a nice view for sure.

A fantastic collection of birds from all over the world in a series of walk-in aviaries & individual (large) aviaries. Located just outside of the city, I got there via the hop-on/hop-off bus (about 1hr from Stop #1). I paid at the gate (MYR 85.00). The Park is well set out, although set in a valley, there are easy walk paths to allow everyone to get around; a couple of the walk-in aviaries have double-door access which maybe a bit tricky in a wheel chair. Allow yourself a few hours to take it all in; I spent an enjoyable 3hrs walking among the birds.

Here, you can find a wide range of cheap but decent products, including cheap knockoffs that look like the original items.

I'm not a muslim, but the museum was nice nice, big, modern, clean etc with 3 floors of exhibits. Plus, they have a restaurant and nice bathrooms etc. I wasn't super interested in the subject matter, but it was nice to walk around and a small entrance fee. It a short walk from the national mosque

This was a wonderful way to spend a couple hours on a hot afternoon. my favorite worthy large scale, Miniatures depicting various aspects of traditional Malaysian life! The scavenger hunt is also fun if you like to take your time and notice all the details. Some of the replicas of historic buildings have QR codes on the display, so you can find them on a map. If you want to go visit them later, this was a great feature, and I discovered a few landmarks I hadn’t known about that, I’m going to go check out now that I saw their miniature version. It’s peaceful, it’s fun, it’s air conditioned, and it’s right by LalaPort, Time Square and other big shopping centers. Take a break from the hectic heat of the city, and go check out some miniatures!

The new Panda Eyes multistore dominates the sleepier stretch of this short street where most tourists will find themselves. For classier shopping there is Pavilion at the other end and many restaurants in between. The popular outdoor food court is down a lane among the budget accomodation.

A beautiful and diverse place with many rare fish. However, it could benefit from better organization of the tourists.
