Very well maintained with small fountain in the gardens, furnished rooms throughout the residence with informative signage in Malayan and English. We stayed in a nearby place. We were hungry and searching for a restaurant for a quick and good bite.
Foods were good and tasty. We took rice and noodle dishes with chicken cutlets. The headquarter of National Archives is located in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim (was known as Jalan Duta) and near to the new Istana Negara. However, if you are in the area it is probably worth a short visit, just don't expect too much. The statesmen are Tun Dr Ismail, Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Tun V.T. Sambanthan, Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu, Tun Datu Mustapha, Tun Fuad Stephens and Tun Temenngung Jugah. The admission to this memorial is completely free and it is closed on Mondays except on public holiday.
