If you’re visiting Kuala Lumpur and love food, Manjeet Dhillon’s 10 Tastings Food Tour is an absolute must. We’ve been on food tours around the world, and this one with Manjeet stands out as an unforgettable experience, thanks to her knowledge, charisma, and attention to detail.

Manjeet is a true gem—her deep understanding of the local cuisine, culture, and history made this tour more than just about eating. She listened intently to what we liked and tailored the experience to ensure it was perfect for us. Each stop was thoughtfully planned, with just enough time between tastings to savor, digest, and explore the vibrant streets of Kuala Lumpur. Manjeet’s connections in the community were evident, as every shop owner greeted her warmly, making us feel like VIPs wherever we went.

The food itself was exceptional. From the tangy explosion of pani puri to the comforting flavors of beef rendang (minang style), every dish told a story. Highlights included the creamy nasi lemak with northern-style chicken rendang, the buttery goodness of roti canai, and the fragrant curry laksa. Manjeet also introduced us to local fruits like mangosteen, snake fruit, rambutan, rose apple, and longan, which were a delightful discovery. To top it off, the sweet indulgences of pulut tai tai with kaya and pineapple jam tarts perfectly balanced the savory dishes. And let’s not forget the classic kopi C, which gave us a taste of Malaysia’s coffee culture.

What set this tour apart was how Manjeet seamlessly combined food with storytelling. As she walked us through the Central Market and surrounding areas, she shared the rich history of Kuala Lumpur, the stories behind each dish, and the cultural significance of the places we visited. It felt less like a tour and more like being guided through the city by a knowledgeable friend.

If you’re considering this tour, don’t hesitate. Manjeet deserves more than 5 stars—she’s a 110% must-experience guide who will make your visit to Kuala Lumpur unforgettable. Book with her, and you’ll walk away not only full of delicious food but also with a deep appreciation for Malaysia’s culture and cuisine.

Even prior to the meeting Siddoz was very prompt with messages and tailored the tour as per our needs. This was my third visit to Malaysia and I think I knew most about Malaysian food. However within the first 2 dishes quickly proved me wrong. We went from stall to stall - each hand picked for what it was great at - and we got to try some great dishes from the differnt ethnic groups that make up the Malaysian population. Would definitely recommend this guide.

Karlson was AMAZING! I had one of the best food tasting experiences I have ever had. He took me to incredible places and we tried 14 different dishes over the course of the evening. He was always checking in to make sure he was ordering things that sounded good to me and then ordering some surprises too - everything was a perfect “10”. Karlson is very knowledgeable about food and the history of the places we went. I highly recommend this tour and Karlson.

This was a great way to experience the early evening in Kuala Lumpur. Our guide, Ramesh, was an excellent host. He introduced himself ahead of the pick up time and was there to meet us early. The weather provided the expected afternoon downpour but a quick reorganising of activities kept us busy. We were amazed at how much we were able to fit into the time we had including the relaxed and delicious meal. Thank you Ramesh, we enjoyed your company and your local insights to life KL.

The Vespa food tour in Kuala Lumpur was a fantastic experience! Riding through the city, sampling amazing local dishes, and having our guide & driver take memorable photos made it truly special. The food was delicious, and the guide was friendly and informative. A fun and unique way to explore the city—highly recommend it!

Great trip, thanks to Michelle & Wesley from Golden Blossom Tours & Travel.
Michelle went out her way to accommodate dietary needs and allergies on this street food trip, asking our preferences and then ordering a variety of “yummy yummy” dishes for us to try such as satay/coconut buns/vegetarian rice dishes etc. Both her and Wesley were great company and shared insights into Kuala Lumpur’s culture and heritage, taking us to Then Hou Temple, a night tour of Merdeka Square and photo-stop’s at King's Palace and the River Of Life, a good trip that I would highly recommend.

We had an amazing time on the Kuala Lumpur Inside Scoot with our guides Kelvin and Azmi. First, it is fun to ride on the Vespa and it is much easier to get through the city traffic. Second, the food stops were all fantastic! You have to come hungry because there is a lot (!) of delicious Chinese, Indian and Malayan cuisine to try. Kelvin took great effort in choosing all the different dishes and explained a lot. But it’s not only a food tour- we went to several touristic spots where Kelvin told us about the history of KL. The highlights for us were the „insider“ places Kelvin showed us, e.g. a former cinema with a unique book shop in it or the very cool bar „PS 150“. Kelvin showed us the best foto spots and took a lot of pictures of us. To summarize: one of the best tours we have ever taken! Thanks a lot guys for showing us „your“ KL :-)!

We bought the tickets earlier, otherwise we wanted to wait for long and we feel it was very good idea. We got the tickets on time and the company delivered the final ticket by mail.

Together with a few friends, I was in Kuala Lumpur for a specially arranged food tour of local food in the city. Our guide Bernard Tan took us to the selected "best" stalls and we were happy with his choice.
