- Tour379622Perth, Australia3 contributionsI would have rated this higher but the trip was spoilt by our transport, which broke down on the way to the highlands and the replacement bus on the way back had brake issue (not what you want on a steep descent) which saw us wait on the side of a very busy road for them to cool down.
Our guide (sorry his name escapes me) was very knowledgeable about the history of Kuala Lumpur and he was very friendly and helpful all day long.
There are lots and lots and lots of shops at the top of the cable car but the outlets, which are cheaper, are at the bottom.

- Akill PLondon, UK11 contributionsHafiz first of was amazing. Super friendly and great knowledge of the locations. The food at lunch was on point and the kalamansi tea was insanely good. The whole team were super friendly from the start and kept me up to date and answered all questions. Highly recommend. Weather wise we were worried but actually for the climb at the Batu Caves it was perfect. This climb isn’t for the weak. It’s a long way up, deceptive even. He also give information about life in KL and other things in KL. We tried different food and our expectations of taste and variiying food were fullfilled. We like the Putu Bambu and the fried rice meal. The combination of sightseeing and food tour was a very nice experience. I wish he had had lunch with us so we could have continued asking questions etc. A longer walk on the pathways that necessitate a guide would have been better. Since we did the see walk that people who don’t pay for a guide do. - Erich DSan Antonio, TX9 contributionsOnce we got the tickets, the lifts to the viewing platforms was quick. The views are breathtaking and unmatched. If you are in Kuala Lampur definitely do this. I was slightly amazed by all the high end hotels in the vicinity of the Petronas Towers.
Now, buying through TripAdvisor/Viator was more complicated than it should have been. The app would only show a confirmation page, and all the emails that said E-Tickets directed to that non ticket.
Install WhatsApp, make sure it’s tied the phone number you give at booking. The tickets are sent on WhatsApp, not email.
