This is the tour if you want to see everything about Arashiyama.
Our guide Aaron lead us through this beautiful part of the city with insightful information in such a friendly manner. We saw the beautiful gardens, the temples, fed the monkeys and made new friends. We enjoyed every minute of it.
    Special thanks to Aaron.

OKI is the most incredible tour guide. We enjoyed every moment with him.. He explained and helped up understand in full about the shrines, temples, and Japanese culture plus so much more.
OKI is the most kindest and beautiful person you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.

Great tour to see many sites in one trip. Excellent locations to see in Kyoto. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Daiki gave us a wonderful, off the beaten path tour. My mom and I have both been to Japan many times, and still managed to see things neither of us have ever seen. My favorite was the temple with the heart shaped window-- it was so empty! No tourists around. The green tea fields were beautiful too. This truly is a one-of-a-kind, unique tour. Thanks, Daiki! Hope to see you again.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had a lot of fun listening to local stories about ghosts and spooky mysteries. They really set the mood for the night. The trek through Arashiyama to the bamboo forest went at a nice pace and the actual walk through the bamboo was a real test of courage eventhough it was a clear night with plenty of moonlight. This was definitely a unique and memorable experience!

I highly recommend this experience. The instructor and translator are great teachers. There are a lot of steps for Kyudo, but they help you learn them all within an hour. This isn’t the typical tourist attraction; your group will be alone in a quaint indoor range. It’s a really fun time, especially with a small group!

Amazing tour! Yukari was an exceptional guide! Not only was she very knowledgeable about every part of the tour, but she was super fun and we had great conversations along the way. Made for a very enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend for a quick little hike.

I did the bike tour with Satsuki. It was a fantastic experience.
The route that Satsuki had chosen was very scenic, easy and very less crowded. He took really good care of everyone in the group.
We really saw the hidden gems and thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour. I really enjoyed the quiet spots in Kyoto.
I would love to this tour again.
Thanks a lot Satsuki. Best Wishes.

Kosuke came highly recommended from Facebook and I am so glad I hired him. He has a spacious air conditioned van. He easily navigated the narrow streets of Kyoto and took us to small non touristic areas which was such a great relief, in addition to the usual tourist attractions. We ate ramen at a non touristic restaurant (sooo good) and we got so many wonderful pictures taken! We also were interested in eating warabi mochi and he went above and beyond by taking us to a local temple where we had the mochi with a green tea ceremony (also very quiet non touristy area) . He did this on the fly too as we didn’t request this beforehand. He is worth every penny please hire him, you won’t regret it !!

We couldn't be happier after our experience with Satoshi. Neither my wife or I consider ourselves particularly photogenic, but Satoshi did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable and getting some AMAZING photos that we will cherish forever. You wouldn't think that the area was mobbed with tourists just by looking at our photos -- it really looks like we had all of Kyoto to ourselves!

We would recommend this experience to anyone looking to get some professional photos to commemorate their time in Kyoto. 11/10

This is a new company that has just started doing bike tours. We booked with them as the other tour operators were fully booked.

Without giving away any spoilers, we really enjoyed our pleasant half day excursion with them. The bikes are in good condition and cycling around Kyoto is easy as most of the cycling is on flat ground. You do have to be aware for cars and pedestrians.

Our guide Aki was knowledgeable and friendly and his command of English is good. You get a chance to see parts of Kyoto that you would miss by train, and bus.

    We would recommend using them.

PS: the bike rental has no restroom facilities at time of writing and so you'd want to come prepared.
