- Christopher LToronto, Canada4 contributionsYou Have To Come Here!!!
One of my favorite experience in Japan and I might go to the one in Osaka as well!
These little creatures are too cute! Never eating tonkatsu again lolWritten 17 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was fortunate to be there for a Group 1 race. I would thoroughly recommend a visit for anyone who is a regular race goer, because even though very little English is spoken everyone is helpful and extremely kind and courteous.Written 4 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marc S7 contributionsMy partner, Michelle visited this wonderful business today. Excellent experience from start to finish. Lovely girls doing hair, makeup and dressing. The photographer was very professional and paid attention to every detail. More than happy with the results. Highly recommended.Written 13 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The Pug cafe is a great place to come if you are a dog lover.

You dress up in some simple samurai gear, learn some basic preparation chants and then go into the training. The guide made the lessons and scoring really fun for the shuraken throwing and dart blowing, so it never got boring. Then we went into the VR part, which everyone found challenging and fun. Highly recommend!Written 15 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Alec S1 contributionThis is a nice arcade in a beautiful, modern-looking mall near Kyoto Station. There's a large assortment of crane games and other arcade staples, plus a VR section! The mall itself has a nice variety of restaurants, making this a great place to spend your afternoon/evening.Written 4 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Titus W1 contributionVery cute dogs. They loved eating treats and playing with us. We gave them all the gourmet treats from behind the counter.Written 20 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Hannah SBuderim, Australia68 contributionsWe travelled with our one year old through Japan and found this indoor playground. I am so glad we did!
It was warm inside, with a small cafe that also had kid friendly food (ordered risotto for our bub and he loved it) and it was a great break from the pram and carrier for our restless bub.
The playground is for under 6 year olds, with a small oval and playground outside for older kids.
We were the only westeners inside at the time we were there and our blonde haired, blue eyed little boy was a bit of a novelty to the local kids there. But kids will be kids and they all got on with the business of playing.
There are lots of wooden toys, a small sectioned off area for the babies not yet crawling/walking, a little wooden house and kitchen set up, a great ball pit with wooden balls (sounds dangerous but I think my bub loved it better than the plastic ball pits at home) and a large play gym with stairs and slides for those a little older.
My boy spent most of the time loving life in the ball pit and cracked a fit when we left.
(It was so noisy that I got a headache and had to leave)
We went on a rainy day, so it may have been busier than usual.
Unfortunately I don't have any photos as there are signs requesting that you do not get other children in your photos, which was impossible at the time I visited.
But it is free, dry, warm and while you must watch your kid (so the area is full of adults as well) you can let them go wild and get rid of some of the energy. It is also very close to the Kyoto Imperial PalaceWritten 7 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. On one hand , it was fun touching an Otter and having it eat out of my hand. It was also sad because the Otters were totally over stimulated and would bite the girls who worked there.Written 18 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Gabriella C5 contributionsI found out about this studio from a cosplay influencer on tiktok. I always get scared about makeup in East Asian countries because I am dark skinned but the makeup was done beautifully! I loved the makeup, the hair and the kimonos! The photographer was super sweet and helped guide me so the poses came out incredible. This experience was wonderful and I would love to come back! 100% should try while in KyotoWritten 13 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 286kazuhideyOtsu, Japan228 contributionsI attended a lecture in the Kyoto Teresa. The Hall was a very large one. It was including a fitness club, a pool, a sports hall and a concert hall. There was also a restaurant. Some posters shown a concert of a famous musician or a play of some stage drama recently. Here is not a sight-seeing spot, but maybe a local establishment.Written 12 November 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JeinSingapore, Singapore9 contributionsI found their workshop by looking up painting activities in Kyoto and I am very glad that I went here! Yusuke-san and Yoko-san are such a kind & lovely couple; they made sure I was very comfortable during my session (I was alone). Yoko-san also gave me treats and tea for when I take a break and once I’ve finished painting.
I can see Yusuke-san's passion for his paintings and I will definitely go back again next time I’m in Kyoto (end of the year!). I love the patterns and have a greater appreciation for kimono designs. Thank you so much for a great experience :)Written 23 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The class took place in a small workshop in a very pleasant atmosphere. The instructions where simple and totally comprehensive. The instructor gave us lots of choices and examples, what we could produce, and was helpful, if we needed a hand :-). The conversation was in japanese only, so if you don't speak japanese, you will need an interpreter.
After the class it took several weeks, but today the result arrived, very carefully packed. The experience of producing an own teacup was fantastic, so that I definitely want to repeat it.Written 7 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you take your time and play with them though, some will definitely warm up and you will be able to pet them.Written 3 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
Although the name says "park," there is no playground equipment or space for children to play; rather, it's more of a comprehensive sports facility. There is health equipment that can be used at any time by men and women of all ages, but it is limited to a small portion of the park.
As outdoor stadiums, there are stadiums where soccer, rugby, baseball, and track and field events can be held, as well as a baseball stadium. Indoor facilities include an arena used for swimming in the summer and an ice skating rink in the winter, and a gymnasium for volleyball, basketball, and various martial arts competitions. The sports facilities are not only used by professional athletes for practice and games, but are also widely used by citizen athletes.
On the other hand, accessibility seems to be a little poor. There are several parking lots in the vicinity of the park, but they are not park-managed parking lots, and the parking spaces are not large. There is also a parking lot within the park, but the spaces are not large, and because it's located at the edge of the park, it's not the most accessible parking lot to the various facilities. The nearest train station is Nishikyogoku Station, and although there are enough trains on weekdays and holidays, the station platforms are narrow, and the platforms become crowded whenever some kind of athletic event is held there. If you are planning to participate in a competition or event at this park, it would be best to allow plenty of time for your trip.Written 28 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
