Mona was an excellent tour guide and she did full justice to the tour. Among her many notable strong points was her excellent command of English, her knowledge of the train and bus timings and how she timed the tour without making us feel rushed, her excellent photography skills especially at the bamboo garden, her amazing choice of a breakfast cafe which we all loved very much. She also altered the return journey so that we could catch a bus directly to the hotel. 5 stars from us

Mana was an amazing professional and truly brought the magic of Kyoto to our tour. Whether discussing history or current culture, navigating ancient sites or backstreets, Mana was a pro. It was a spectacular day, tailored to our interests. I strongly recommend enjoying Kyoto with Mana.

This was a full-day very interesting tour for my family of 12. We traveled together on the Nozomi bullet train from Kyoto to Hiroshima. Azusa san met us in Hiroshima and took us on a bus to through Hiroshima highlights and then to the ferry to Miyajima. The island and shrine/torii gate in the water were beautiful. We had lunch on our own in on the shopping street, then she took us on the ferry and bus to the Hiroshima Peace Park and Museum, where we had plenty of time to take in the exhibits. Azusa san is very humorous with lots of good jokes and information about Japan and Hiroshima. At 6pm, she showed us a delicious sushi restaurant where we could have dinner before taking the Nozomi back to Kyoto.

Great tour to Nara with Masaki. Customized the outing as desired and saw all of the highlights of Nara. He was incredibly easy to engage and discuss the history of each landmark. Very educational and fun tour. Highly recommend.

We did a full day day walking tour capturing many Kyoto highlights. Jose David was very patient with my 7 year old, engaging in much conversation to keep him interested and moving! He kept us off the beaten path, which exposed us to places I would not have found otherwise. We were able to appreciate the beauty of Kyoto without encountering too many crowds.

My partner and I met out guide Chouka-san at the station and she took care of all the tickets needed along the way. She was an amazing guide, talented in English, with a great understanding of Japanese history for both its recent and distant past.

She emboldened us to try some new foods at the markets, found us a lovely spot for lunch, and helped us identify things which are unique to Kyoto - such as the guardians above the doors, inari sushi, etc.

She was able to answer all of our questions about the temples and shrines, explained the rites taking place and taught us a couple phrases of japanese that will help us along the rest of our trip. Such a lovely woman! I would highly recommend any tours with her as your guide. Suddenly Kyoto feels like home

Kyoto is a magnificent city to visit with so much cultural heritage. The highlight of our tour was our guide Indra. He is originally from Indonesia but has lived in Japan for many years. He was very forthcoming with information and recommendations. He also gave us great insights into the Japanese culture and customs, not only from a Japanese point of view but also from an outsiders point of view which we appreciated. We highly recommend him.

Kaz was an amazing guide! He had so much information on everything, just a huge boost to the attractions knowing more about them made this tour top notch. We had a bit of bad weather Kaz recommended swapping a few things and it turned out to be even better!

Hiro Nakagawa was great. He met us promptly at our agreed location. So easy by the cruise ship. We had a great day walking, learned to navigate the Osaka subway system, and had a very memorable experience. I recommend highly recommend Hiro.

Privileged to have such a wonderful and knowledgeable guide in Akiyama-san. So enjoyed our experience - great combination of a history lesson and amazing vistas and temple visits. Ask for Kazunori Akiyama-san by name, you won't be sorry.

Yoshi San was a rockstar! Of course he was an Ironman because we covered the whole city plus plus. He taught us all the inside information and the history so we can follow and understand what we were seeing. He was a joy to be around and we can’t recommend him enough!

Tom was AMAZING!!!! I loved him! What a great day. He was on time and he welcomed me to the tour! He was flexible, fun, and very knowledgeable about history and Japanese culture! He loves it when you ask questions so don’t be afraid! It really felt as like two friends went out and check out the city! He was fun, always helping me with picture taken( I was solo). He also took me to a delish restaurant for lunch and gave me recommendations for a great sake. Do yourself a favor and book Tom!!!!!!!!!
