Nanami was our delightful leader, and she took special care of me, as I’m approaching 80, I’m not as fit as I used to be! She was well informed and flexible xx, and charming.

We did thrLE 6.45am tour. Kota was a great guide around Kyoto - it was an early start but definitely recommend this tour to beat the crowds!

It was a small tour at a nice relaxed pace, walking wasn't intense - the golden temple did feel pretty crowded by tourists at midday but happy we got good pictures when it was quieter at the Tori gates and Bamboo Forest :)

Ayako was a great guide. She planned an organized itinerary based on my choices: Golden pavilion, Nijyo Castle, and Eikandou. She also chose a nice restaurant for our lunch. She was very personable and provided great information at the sites. She let us spend as little or as much time as we wanted at each stop. We had a very enjoyable day and learned a lot.

Toshi was very good. We saw a great deal on an extremely hot day. Knocked out most of the main attractions over in one fell swoop, so now we can enjoy the next four days meandering without any anxiety about missing something :)

Akira was an absolutely top notch guide. He managed to get us everywhere despite my wife's mobility issues, and even obtained a wheelchair for her at the Golden Pavilion and the Shogun's castle. The sights were all extraordinary, particularly the Buddhist site with which we started the day. Also, he was very easy to communicate with. Our driver too was friendly and very considerate.

Our driver Yanagi was prompt and super friendly. The van was immaculate and comfortable. He figured out our itinerary based on the sights we wanted to see, and picked us up when we wandered away from the meet point. He arranged for our lunch and had us back to our hotel well before the scheduled end of the day. I plan on booking a tour when I return with my husband - so comfortable and an efficient way to pack a lot of sights into a single day. Highly recommend!

Great tour! Our guide, Hama, was wonderful and spoke English well. It was easy to find our starting point, the itinerary was easy to follow. The buffet lunch was good. There were plenty of opportunities to venture off on own, we didn't have to follow the group the whole time. We were given time to explore and shop at each destination.
It was hot and humid, but the bus was air-conditioned and comfortable.
Fair warning - there is lots of walking!!

Meeting point was easy to find and tour bus very clean. Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion) is so beautiful wish I could see it during fall season (maybe next time ). Walking between the Bamboo grove was quite amazing and an experience not to be forgotten. Arashiyama district is full of interesting shops and restaurants. Wish we had more time exploring and sample local foods. Todai-ji temple has quite a history and should not be missed. Lastly the Nara park with all those lovely bowing deers is another unforgettable lifetime experience. So amazing how these creatures are. The guide mentioned that they go back to the forest during the night and come back down to the park during the day. But there are some that stays.

Overall a very satisfying tour. Thanks to our tour guide and driver. Definitely recommend to take this tour from Limon tours! Thank you!

We are so grateful for our guide, Basra. He was patient, helpful and kind, and took us exactly where we wanted to go! It was hotter than Hades in Kyoto, and going from place to place in an air-conditioned van made all the difference as opposed to my original plan of using public transportation. Our guide also recommended a unique and absolutely delicious ramen place for lunch, and overall it was a fantastic day, worth every penny! On the way back to our hotel, our guide even stopped at the 7-Eleven and showed my teenagers how to make fruit smoothies!

Fantastic afternoon / evening with Daiki. Lots of communication before we met and we were able to tailor our day to what we wanted to do… if you want a day that covers what you want to do, this is the tour for you! I cannot fault the day at all and we would like to thank Daiki again for a great day with lots of recommendations.

Our guide Tad was exceptional! A group of 4 friends we had a blast in Kyoto. He also made a really great video of our trip which we were not expecting but a really pleasant surprise! Highly recommended tour!

This night was one of the most memorable parts of our whole trip to Japan! Our host, Chica, was so much fun and knowledgeable about all the delicious food we got to try throughout the course of the evening. We tried so many things we would never even know to order and had some special kinds of sake too! It was so fun to have all the dishes just brought ti the table and not even have to look at a menu. We found it so relaxing after a busy day of playing tourist all over Kyoto. I HIGHLY recommend this tour if you’re visiting this area of Japan. You will not regret it!!!

Thank you to our tour guide Oki who navigated the Kyoto temples for us on a very rainy day! He was so understanding especially with all of our accommodations and was always so thoughtful and worried about us all. He made our dinner reservations which was also very helpful. Oki is so knowledgeable and explained everything to us in a way that was easy to understand. Thank you Oki!!

Hisashi was a great guide! We were glad to visit some of Kyoto's most prominent tourist attractions before the crowds (and heat) became overwhelming. He helped us navigate the transit system and offered some helpful info about the places we were seeing. We'd recommend this tour to those looking to avoid the crowds.
