She was incredibly enthusiastic which made it so much more enjoyable. We really had the best tour, and got to see and hear about some of the most exciting things (terracotta warriors, big wild goose pagoda, a local show + tips for other attractions). We booked the short show without dinner - it was short and sweet! There was food and drinks available to order as well. Everything went according to plan and the atmosphere was exilerating but not overpowering.
Diehl made things easy and she was very open in giving a view onto everyday life in Xian.
Highly recommended if you're a foodie. We were in three (my wife, my 10 years old daughter and me) and Bruce brought us to a spice market close to their house to buy the vegetables, the meat, etc... Then we went to their house: they offered us fruits, cakes and tea. Then we started to cook with Lily: we did the dough, we cut the vegetables, we cooked them and then we prepared the "biang biang" with our dough and with the Lily's dough. Then we cooked this noodles and we ate with their family: we had the noodles that we did and some other cold dished prepared by Lily.

Anything we wanted to do they would take us and also recommend great stuff to do. - Explorer5953151 contributionLinda is an exceptional tour guide. She is knowledgeable, friendly and speaks fluent English. On the day of the tour, she waited for us promptly at the hotel by 8am. We had a short discussion to confirm the sites we wanted to visit, which included the big goose pagoda and the terracotta warrior museum. She spoke of the site history in great details (in both mandarin and English) and took us to the best spots for photos. At the end of the tour, she took us to a lovely local Chinese restaurant and we had a delicious lunch. The whole trip took about 8 hours. We were extremely impressed with her knowledge of the sites, and hope that we would return to visit Xi’an in the future. We went to the bampo museum first which was interesting. Then we spent a lot of time at the warriors.
