Nice to look around and enjoy the peace.
Please be respectful and do not make too much noise during your visit.Written 16 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a volunteer tour guide that gave us so much information about all the animals in the center. Get to hangout and pat the zoo ambassadors (eagles, lizards, snakes etc.). Kids (and adults) were fully engaged the whole time. Highly recommended!Written 13 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alvin N19 contributionsThe place is big enough to be disoriented to where your about. Good place to shop as well for all you needs; although, there is a south and north to visit for your necessities.Written 19 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CarolineAlejoNew York City, NY69 contributionsWe went there after a detailed tour with one of my mentors and formators in Lasalle, as I am one of the alumni of the University. We were invited to take a look around the museum and I was quite proud to show my Italian husband how my university has evolved and the collections are quite impressive. Please do visit the museum with your family and loved ones!Written 1 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dollya669Bacolod, Philippines94 contributionsFrom the outside, this small church looks plain and simple - wooden frames with capiz shells making the doors.
This plain looking church holds a number of shell mosaics the shells of which are all their natural colors... the biggest mosaic is the backdrop-the Birhen Sang Barangay or Our Lady of the Barangay where the church probably got its name. (9 × 21 feet composed of more than 90,000 shell pcs)
The usual way of the cross you see hanging in almost all Catholic churches is also showcased here--in shell mosaic. If you appreciate art, you would see how intricate the workmanship of all the mosaics are...
In the center of the church hangs a chandelier made up of 14,000 shells.
The cozyness and art of the church (as it is located at Sta. Clara subd -- the oldest and most prestegious subdivision in Bacolod) as well as its serenity makes it one of the most wanted wedding venues in the area.
The church holds regular Sunday Mass at 10 am. Sat anticipated Mass at 5:30 pm And daily masses at 7am.Written 14 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
