Fantastic conservation center operated by some passionate zoologists and volunteers. We had a volunteer tour guide that gave us so much information about all the animals in the center. Get to hangout and pat the zoo ambassadors (eagles, lizards, snakes etc.). Kids (and adults) were fully engaged the whole time. Highly recommended!

It was interesting to see the paintings and other things on display as they tell you a lot about the place and its history. Entrance fee was also reasonable.

Owned by Mr Tomiko Casiano, The Laguerta Vintage glass museum is not to be missed when you visit Bacolod. His vast array of collection shipped from the US and his stories are really fascinating. Make sure to make an appointment first cos he doesnt allow walk-ins

The place is big enough to be disoriented to where your about. Good place to shop as well for all you needs; although, there is a south and north to visit for your necessities.

We went there after a detailed tour with one of my mentors and formators in Lasalle, as I am one of the alumni of the University. We were invited to take a look around the museum and I was quite proud to show my Italian husband how my university has evolved and the collections are quite impressive. Please do visit the museum with your family and loved ones!

After visiting the Cathedral, we decided to check out the Capitol Building and in front of it was this beautiful lagoon park. There was a kiosk selling iced coffee, etc. which you can enjoy seating in one of those chairs nearby while enjoying the views of the lagoon/park.

From the outside, this small church looks plain and simple - wooden frames with capiz shells making the doors.
This plain looking church holds a number of shell mosaics the shells of which are all their natural colors... the biggest mosaic is the backdrop-the Birhen Sang Barangay or Our Lady of the Barangay where the church probably got its name. (9 × 21 feet composed of more than 90,000 shell pcs)
The usual way of the cross you see hanging in almost all Catholic churches is also showcased here--in shell mosaic. If you appreciate art, you would see how intricate the workmanship of all the mosaics are...
In the center of the church hangs a chandelier made up of 14,000 shells.
The cozyness and art of the church (as it is located at Sta. Clara subd -- the oldest and most prestegious subdivision in Bacolod) as well as its serenity makes it one of the most wanted wedding venues in the area.
The church holds regular Sunday Mass at 10 am. Sat anticipated Mass at 5:30 pm And daily masses at 7am.

Need some exercise to burn those crazy fats away? When in Bacolod City, Panaad Park is one good option. Others do Zumba here also and dance practice. This was rated by Alex the Media Guy. #FrenxiesMedia #FrenxiesTravels #Nworld #AlexMediaGuy #FrenxiesNewsWire

Super fast, super silent and breathtaking waves as it hits the deck. So relaxing that you do not know you where there at the other side, Iloilo.
