- MuttaqiDoha279 contributionsOldest market in the area. Business hub for the region. Parking and driving is an issue. Variety of markets around. Best touring recommended on foot.Written 18 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- neat gRawalpindi, Pakistan77 contributionsThe best rides at Joyland Rawalpindi are Tornado, Discovery and Islamabad eye.
Tornado is a fast merry go round, Discovery is huge bucket that tumbles and goes round and around and Islamabad is a slow moving ferris wheel.Written 7 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Irtza S2 contributionsbeautifull. small water fall. small lake with green colour water..

- flyfisher66Islamabad, Pakistan3,041 contributionsLocated 37 km (50 mins to 1 hr drive) from Rawat Junction is this small fort located in a very picturesque setting. The fort was reportedly built for defence purpose during Sikh era in early 18th century. The construction of fort is such that allows an all round defence capability from a vantage point. Not a big fort, it has four bastions and a court yard in the center. Shrine of a famous Sufi saint of the era, Sahibzada Abdul Hakeem is also located in the court yard. The saint reportedly spent some time on this hillock when the fort wasn't there. The legend says that 50 years after his death when the Dogras had vacated this fort, his dead body was shifted here and a shrine was built.
Unfortunately, Department of Archaeology has grossly overlooked this historic site too, like hundreds of other sites all over Pakistan. Lack of maintenance by the Archaeology Dept prompted the locals, who due to the shrine of Sahibzada Abdul Hakeem in the fort which they keep in very high esteem, decided to repair it at their own with modern day bricks and cement which just doesn't go along with the original construction that is with stones and mortar. Not their fault, at least they restored the place but to say the least, it looks completely out of place.
There is no shop in the area so take your things along. Be careful on the narrow areas outside the wall as in most directions, there is a sheer fall of over hundred feet. A very nice place to visit with family.Written 25 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Mian FidaRawalpindi, Pakistan1 contributionVery Beautiful green Area of Pakistan.

The park is situated on the corner of main murree road and stadium road. Its complete green with different flowers, trees and grass all over. It has proper walking/jogging track, circling around the park. Then it also has a small exercise area as well as few badminton open air courts. Park has different benches scattered all over the park for seating, few covered with shade and mostly open. Now very swings available for kids as compared to past. Also the area for joy rides has been closed for almost more than a year. Few snack shops available but no proper cafe or restaurant inside the park. But the park is right opposite to Rawalpindi food street, so just by walk one can go to food street. Also Rawalpindi cricket stadium is adjacent to food street and opposite to park. Overall it's a park with nice atmosphere and well managed by PHA but again some stupid people cannot keep it clean.Written 19 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AliZmaIslamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan295 contributionsThis Masjid had been built 3 times. It used to be a local small Masjid for the people of Guldhan Dadan area. Then it was rebuilt in late 90s to a new bigger one on main Murree Road. Then during the extension of Murree Road, it was demolished once again and built on the land next to the last Masjid. Its beautifully designed and constructed considering the classic Masjid as well as modern architecture. It has mainly 3 floors i.e., basement, ground and first. Spacious halls are available on ground and in basement and also some space on first floor. It has number of wash rooms and spacious ablution area. Also it has small library considering of Islamic books. There are rooms reserved for groups coming from Tableeghi Jamat (Preachers).
Also it is situated right on Murree Road, so very convenient for travelers to pray.Written 26 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - HashamsaeedBirmingham, UK71 contributionsA must taste 12 years old vintage whisky. - Khalid MWalsall, England, United Kingdom20 contributionsIt's a nice place, home for famous Bull Races, I can't understand why any one will visit this place unless you live here or visiting a friend or relative, it shouldn't be in the review list, However, I am leaving a positive feedbackWritten 7 July 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
