The park is lovely, the path through from the entrance to the waterfall is spectacular, along the way there is a small temple and park area, as well as a rest stop with toilets & refreshments halfway.

Osaka Castle Park Chuo
Very Beautiful park at the Osaka Castle yard very fresh air and many areas to look around it is surrounding the castle which was amazing it may require 3-4 hours tour around but must to visit Loved it Manal Oman
The park is perfect during Spring where the lovely Cherry Blossoms arise, the weather is perfect and you get to experience Hanami (picnic under the cherry blossoms tree).

There are several separate attractions within the park you can visit, such as multiple museums and paddle boats, as well as plenty of paths, gardens and lawns to explore and have some respite from the cramped bust...
You could join the nature exploration guided tour (in Japanese only) but it was perfectly fine to take a 5-6 km walk around the park that is full of bird songs and green.
