Takenaka Carpentry Tools Museum Kobe
One of the best museums I’ve been to.
I've been living in Kyoto, so I've been surrounded by the temples and shrines that were built in this way thousands of years ago, and it's really amazing to see a museum dedicated to show you how they were built,...
Kawasaki Good Times World Kobe
The maritime museum is already a wonderful place to visit, but couple with this amazing display of Kawasaki products and the collection of motorbikes makes this place well worth the visit.
... there is a lot of hands on stuff to do like Motorcycles and trains and a helicopter, the Kawasaki Good Times World is together with the Kobe Maritime Museum which is also worth seeing, the entrance is for both.

Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum Higashinada
just a visit to one or two sake museums is good enough as they will look the same after a while (and you'll want to just make a beeline for the sake tasting counter).
Amazing museum, about 40 minutes from Osaka by JR line, you have to put your GPS because you have to walk a little bit between the beautiful and chill neighbourhood of the hakutsuru factory.
