We found great results, but some are outside Yokohama. Showing results in neighbouring cities.

Otherwise, I'd say it's every bit as good as many of the railway museums with full-size trains, and the organization and presentation are excellent, taking us through the history of railways, the history of model...
One of the many interesting museums in Yokohama

This has to be one of my favourite museums ever.
The Cupnoodles Museum contains interactive exhibits and informative displays, which explain the history of Cupnoodles, illustrate the variety and international breadth of the various noodles and products, along wi...

I was lucky enough to be in the area of the Museum when the Japanese Coast Guard were carrying out a display including a helicopter and various ships.
Great museum explaining the work of japan coast guard

Unlike some museums with all displays in Japanese, this one included English as well and that helped.
This is an extensive and rich museum.

Yokohama Museum of Art had an excellent art exhibit that meshed perfectly with the "GARDEN Necklace" Urban Greenery Exhibit.
Was a terrific display with all sorts of visual arts from paintings to film to sculpture and more The museum itself is very inviting and the staff were very helpful.

Great museum on the waterfront with excellent photos and displays; a real treasure house.
The museum was really modern send well- designed, good for kids and adults.

Their attention to detail was excellent, but I am so glad their toilets were modern though :) The museum portion is also very informative, with a great explanation on what exactly 'umami' is.
What I liked about ShinYokohama Ramen Museum: 1) A total of 9 ramen shops under one roof - you can eat all of them without having to travel! 2) Ambiance was top notch - Its lighting, background music and "interior...

This museum had displays, pictures, and life stories of those who migrated from Yokohama to North, South America and Hawaii.
This was a small but fascinating museum about the migration of Japanese to South America and the US.

The museum itself is quite small, but it explains the history of Yokohama throughly and easily, and it English as well!
This is a small museum that you can see in an hour or so.

We wandered around reading the gravestones for several hours and felt it was far more informative than any of the several museums we had visited.
Also a small museum at the top of the cemetery with interesting historical background off the cemetery and Yokohama dating to 1800's.

This museum is just across the street from the Osanbashi Pier, so I definitely recommend checking it out!
It also has traditional Japanese dress across time, so there is a lot to look at though the museum itself is quite small.

Walking along towards the Waterfront esplanade I saw the sign 300metres to the Doll Museum and my curiosity got me ,as a lover of dolls from childhood.
We took my six year old daughter, thinking she would love the museum and we would enjoy watching her explore.

Beautiful Robby, the English sheepdog greeted me with a photo opportunity as he relaxed in the museum.
