We want to thank you for a most enjoyable day.  You helped us make memories that we will never forget.
From the time we booked the tour, we were contacted by Hirokane, he provided details and pictures of where to meet them when we got off the ship.  This immediately put us at ease just knowing that so much care was being provided.  After arriving we were met by Hirokane and introduced to Hiroko and Ted who would take care of us for the day.
Hiroko and Ted were absolutely wonderful.  Hiroko provided us with a great insight to Japan mythology, which really helped us pull together all of our visits to the Shrines and Temples.  She was amazing.  This was just the beginning, they took us to several amazing sites to get views of Mt. Fuji from the mountains, tea fields to the beach.  We have to be some of the luckiest people.  The day before we got to Shimizu, Mt Fuji had no snow, that night it got the first snow of the season....Wow  Then we got the amazing guides.  Who could ask for more.  If you get an opportunity to spend time with them, I highly recommend their services.

We had the best day with Terry! He was an amazing tour guide who was so passionate and knowledgeable about the city of Shizuoka. He taught us a lot about the area and Japanese history. He even had local Japanese tourists asking him questions about the shrine we visited. The best part of our day with him was lunch. He had recommended and set up a reservation for us at a hidden-gem of a tuna/sushi restaurant. It was so delicious and some of the best fish we had on our trip. We went to a variety of places including multiple view points of Mt. Fuji, an ancient shrine, a castle, a tea garden, and an observatory room in a govt. building. I would highly recommend this tour with Terry to all of my friends and family. Next time I come to Japan I definitely want to spend more time in Shizuoka because it was that great!

My husband and I escaped to the area for a day. We had a wonderful time and Hero our guide was awesome. He was full of information about the area and took the time to show us some added gems in the area. The Sake distillery was a highlight. 9th and 10th generation of running the distillery. We were lucky with beautiful weather and perfect views. The shrine and art museum were also wonderful parts of the day.

Great private tour of Hakone with our guide Ryuta. Ryuta was very knowledgeable about the local history and sites and was very flexible to arrange our tour around our family’s interests. Would definitely recommend to other families.

We did this tour in may 2024 and we really enjoyed it. Our guide Nami was great. The scenery was nice at the waterfall even under the rain. The tour at the shrine was also instructive with the local guides and the meal we had was very local and full of savor.
    I recommend this tour.

Very Great and unforgettable experiences! The tour guide Stella was very professional with good English speaking! She also helped us to arrange the tea making in the following day, so that we could have more fun! Sakyo-san was also very professional in introducing different kinds of tea to us! We enjoyed it so much!

We had a perfect guideid tour with our guide Miyuki, everything went smoothly and we were lucky with the weather too so we were able to get a full view of Mount Fuji. The hosts at the tea farm were super friendly and knowledgeable and we enjoyed getting to know the details of tea picking and different types of teas including a tea tasting. Overall a great experience!

I am so impressed with the prompt and professional manner our private tour of Shimizu was handled by the tour manager Hirokane-san and our guide Hiroko-san. Mr. Hirokane messaged me as soon as I booked the tour on Trip Advisor. He provided detailed information on our tour stops, pics of exactly where we would meet and info. on our guide. During the tour our guide Hiroko; shared with us interesting history, folklore and details about current conditions of the area. With Hiroko’s knowledge; we were able to really immerse ourselves in the culture of the area. Her mastery of the English language is amazing!

Added bonus is that we were able to view the magnificent but very elusive Mt. Fuji at the end of day! We heard that it’s the 1st time in many years that there was no snowfall in October on the top of Mt. Fuji.

Our tour guide Ikuyo was amazing. We all met at our hotel which was really convenient for us. We all travelled by local train and bus to the venues, which we had requested to really experience the Japanese way of life.
So grateful for the knowledge Ikuyo had as we had no idea the bus process was so different to the UK so this was really helpful.
Our first site was the Nihondaira Yume Terrace, truly stunning the views were gorgeous with Mt Fuji clearly visible as the day was full of sunshine. We then took the ropeway to Kunozan Tosho-gu a very special place and we were blessed with the inner Shrine being open due to preparations for an event. This enabled us to walk right up to Tokugawa Ieyasu resting place which was so peaceful surrounded by trees.
The day was made so much more interesting with Ikuyo sharing all of the history and explanations as we visited each location, sharing loads of information on Japanese culture which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
I would also like to make a special mention to how amazing Ikuyo was as we were travelling back to Tokyo later that week and Ikuyo helped with translation for us to purchase all of the necessary train tickets as we planned to stop off at Odawara en route. It was a great example of Ikuyo going above and beyond which was really appreciated by us.
A fantastic day made exceptionally chilled and relaxed for us with Ikuyo wonderful personality and knowledge. Thank you🙏🏽

We were blessed with one of the best days to see Mount Fuji with picture perfect clear views and a wonderful guide Rie San and terrific driver Yukio San. Rie was so warm, welcoming and incredibly patient with our large family. She made the day especially memorable giving us, terrific explanations about the rich history of the region, the first shogun and provided hand drawn pictorials to boot!!
From the beginning, the tour operator Hirokane, was thoughtful, and expeditious in providing us clear explanations, and responses to our questions. He anticipated her needs before even needing to ask. I cannot speak more highly of this company. One of the best tours we had in Japan.
