Now I know why they call it monkey mountain! Tons of monkeys playing around the tourists.

A lifelong local who studied English and History at University, to say Thao is an expert on the Sanctuary, history and area would be an understatement.
He expertly weaved his knowledge of the site with his own personal experiences making for a very informative and interesting tour.
The 05:30 wake up is well worth it; we saw this incredible site and no one else was there. It was like being the first people to see it in 1,000 years.
Thanks Thao, we had an awesome day! Book now folks.

Engaging guide, once you tuned into his accent, whose knowledge was impressive. He painted a word picture of times past in the Forbidden City. Waited on by eunuchs, serviced by 1000 concubines. Great job if you can get it.The mosaic Palace was mind blowing and the Emperor’s tomb sublime. The scenery and roads are exceptional and the drivers make frequent stops to show you the best views and spots for photos. The drivers were so safe and we always felt well looked after and in good hands. We even stopped at a gorgeous waterfall and other secluded spots which were amazing for swimming and relaxing.
