This is not your typical tour—and it turned out to be one of the most meaningful parts of our Tanzania trip.
I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant at first since this is a new, family-run business without many reviews yet. But I’m so glad we took a chance. Praylord, Freddie, and Prosper created an experience that was authentic, flexible, and full of heart.
After several long safari days, we didn’t want another early-morning, full-day tour. This tour is very flexible and customizable to your needs, and we started ours at 10:30am hotel pick up, which is rare and incredibly helpful if you want something lighter and less rushed.
We visited a beautiful waterfall, enjoyed a fun swing in the air, learned about local plants and herbs, and made coffee from scratch. It was personal, joyful, and never felt touristy-authentic, true life in Tanzania.
Even though our teen son had his moments, the team welcomed us with open hearts and genuine kindness. I highly recommend this experience either before or after your safari—you’ll not only enjoy it, but you’ll also be supporting a wonderful local business that deserves to grow.
The highlight for me was visiting a nursery supported by the Meru tribe, where orphans are cared for by the local community. Meeting the children and seeing their joy was deeply touching and gave our trip a real sense of purpose and connection. I think this tour completes Tanzania trip!
