Katrina, our guide was excellent. It was a long tour and we enjoyed a range of new experiences. Katrina was well organised and kept us on time. She also gave us a wealth of information on each destination

We were collected from our hotel on time by a delightful guide Joy. Joy was so knowledgeable and was able to provide an in-depth perspective of Gyeongju, not only because she is a local but because she is very passionate and clever. She took many photos of our experience and created a short video as well.

Mina was super kind and courteous as she drove us to Gyeongju from Busan. We were even able to take our luggage as we’re staying in Gyeongju overnight. Mina explained all the stories and history of the places we went to really well, and asked if we needed anything else along the way lots of times. The places were gorgeous, with enough time to look around and experience the place. 5 star, would recommend

We had a great time on the Discover Eastern Korea tour! The tour with Mr. Jay (Guide) and Mr Park (Driver) was excellent! Jay made the trip a 10/10 always accommodating everyone and making sure every participant was comfortable and well taken care of. Special diet, no problem, special request, no problem! The history, knowledge and food were superb! I highly recommend taking this tour with Jay and Hana Tours! #2thumbsup #number1tourguide

Absolutely amazing! We had Mr. Dongmin Goh. I would highly suggest you request him. He was immensely knowledgeable. More importantly though, he was personable and filled with passion. You can tell that he loves what he does and strives to give his clients much more than a day of simple sight seeing but a visceral experience.

What an absolute treat this tour was!!! David is such a pro!! Both as a tour guide and as a photographer. Creating a relaxed and fun environment to turn us all into great models ;) The fact that it is such a small group makes it a super personal experience. Well worth spending the little extra money to get this unique experience. Thank you Triends!!

I throughly enjoyed the tour and saw four of the highlights of this amazing city with an abundance of beautiful blossoms. We stopped at an extra pond which the locals know is the best place for photos.

Long overdue but here goes. We had Steve as our tour guide and he was absolutely the best. We weren't originally sure what to expect for this tour as I had been to Gyeongju as a child while my partner (from America) had never been to Korea before. Steve, who was completely fluent in both English and Korean, gave us such a fun tour and we are so glad we signed up last minute. For someone who did not grow up in Korea, Steve was extremely knowledgable and had a lot of interesting facts that you normally might not get from touring the city on your own even if you were educated in Korea. Steve is very easy-going, thoughtful, and makes sure that the tour he gives fits the agenda you are looking for that day. Whether you are Korean or not, speak the language or not, or knowledable in Korean history, we would absolutely recommend hiring Steve for the day and you can relax while you let him take you around. As the historic capital of Korea, he definitely had an impact on how we viewed the city by the time we left in the hopes of younger generations sticking around to keep the history alive in such a beautiful historic city.

Exploring Korea was an absolute delight, thanks to an impeccably crafted itinerary that seamlessly blended history, modernity, tradition, and culinary delights. From the bustling streets of Busan to the serene landscapes of the countryside, every moment was filled with discovery and wonder.

Our knowledgeable guide, Mr. Jay, was the linchpin of our journey, effortlessly weaving together the rich tapestry of Korean history and culture. His passion for his country's heritage was infectious, and we found ourselves enthralled by tales of ancient dynasties, royal traditions, and the resilience of the Korean people throughout the ages.

But our adventure wasn't confined to the past; we also experienced the vibrant pulse of modern Korean life. From sleek skyscrapers to trendy neighborhoods, we marveled at Korea's rapid transformation into a global powerhouse while still cherishing its age-old customs and values.

Of course, no trip to Korea would be complete without indulging in its exquisite cuisine, and oh, what a culinary journey it was! Each meal was a masterpiece and unique tantalizing our taste buds and leaving us craving more.

And let's not forget the accommodations – luxurious hotels that provided the perfect blend of comfort and elegance, ensuring that we were well-rested and ready for each day's adventures.

Last but not least, a special shoutout to Mr. Park, our skilled and attentive driver, whose safe and smooth navigation ensured that we could relax and enjoy the scenery without a care in the world.

In summary, our tour of Korea was an unforgettable experience that left us with a profound appreciation for this beautiful country and its people.

Thank you Jay for being so kind and caring . Thank you Mr. Park for making us feel safe , for being kind and descrete.

Thank you to everyone involved for making it truly exceptional.

This was an amazing one day tour, and Tagy Travel Korea has done a great job in making this a very smooth and enjoyable experience for anyone based in Seoul, despite the fact that the destination is at the opposite end of the country. We we picked up at our hotel in Seoul, taken to the train station, and guided to our car and seats on the high speed KTX train. (If you have seen the movie “Train to Busan” this will be an extra treat.) The travel time is little over two hours with a lot of great scenery, and we were met in Gyeongju by Mr. Solomon, who was a very capable tour guide, who not only showed his enthusiasm for the region, but also went out of his way to spare us unnecessary walking when finding parking spaces on what was a pretty busy tourist day.

Gyeongju is one of the most important (and enjoyable) tourist destinations in South Korea, with much older sites that you will find around Seoul. It is also a gorgeous destination in the fall (first week of November for us.) The only thing I would do differently for this tour would be to schedule it on a weekday, since so many people were out to see the fall foliage when we went on a Sunday. The first two stops on the tour, (the Seokguram Grotto and the Bulguksa Temple) were simply jaw-dropping when combined with the fall colors. Another highlight of the tour (which was NOT part of the tour description) was Mr. Solomon’s lunch suggestion at a well-known restaurant specializing in “Temple Food”, which was nearly all vegetarian. We had was must have been a 15-course meal with an incredible variety of dishes. Vegetarian restaurants are rare in Korea, but I’d recommend this very strongly.

The Tumuli Park not only has a huge collection of funeral mounds, but also a stunning collection of different types of flowers. Mr. Solomon also timed our visit to the Anapji pond as it was getting dark, allowing us to take some incredible photos, and still make the train station in time for the return trip. We we met on the train platform in Seoul as we stepped out of the train car for the return back to our hotel— so there were no moments of uncertainty in getting back. I would STRONGLY recommend this tour for anyone based in Seoul who really wants to see another (and beautiful) side of South Korea.

I booked the Chasing Cherry Blossoms full day tour, with my 3 year old daughter and family. Travelling with a toddler was made easy with this organized tour. Tour started on time. The guide, Mr. David, gave out his calling card and contact number to everyone in the tour which was a great help since you can readily contact him, in case you get separated from the group. communication is easy as our guide speaks english fluently. The places we went to are quite satisfactory since we were able to see the beautiful cherry blossoms, despite it being early spring and cherry blossoms are not yet in full season.

I likewise left my mobile phone in the bus but the guide and tour staff, readily helped me out and the driver was kind enough to return my phone the following day, giving out clear instructions on how to retrieve it. Thank you Ktour for the wonderful time and great assistance.
