We took a bus up to the top, drop off by the main entrance.
Purchase the map about 2,000won and select your route then collect the stamps.

you will receive 3 gifts in some stamping locations.

kudos for the effort of the upkeep.

This is our second visit after a few years and this time round we came for dinner. There are many stalls on the ground floor to buy what you want to eat, and these included snow crabs, king crabs, prawns, lobsters, flat fish, eels, oysters, clams, etc. the fishmongers will clean the seafood for you depending on how you want these cooked. They will also recommend and bring you to a stall on the upper level where you pay a charge for consuming the food as well as the cooking costs. If you buy the seafood from the stalls on the upper level, the selection you want might not be available but the price quoted is all inclusive. Rice, noodles, drinks and alcohol, etc, are charged separately.

Generally, the food will be fresh but do note that prices are not cheap, and there might be issues with communication so you might want to ask about the prices and costs.

Every thing you’re looking for and most things you aren’t will be found in this bustling and very busy Street market area. Sit down and have a feed at one of the street food vendors. Well worth a visit and a wander.

We spent a few hours here looking around and having a few snacks. The mall is packed full of activities, restaurants and shops. A highlight for us was Spa Land and we really enjoyed the food market on the B1 level which had lots of options. The stores in the main building are more on the high end but the cylinder shaped building had more affordable brands.

The closest metro is Centrum City and you can access this mall via the underground pedways. There is a Lotte Department store nearby as well as a few other shopping centres.

We didn't expect it, but the museum was a pleasant surprise. Different from what we expected. Highly recommended.

Another big market selling the usual live /dried seafood, vegetables, etc, etc.

But this market is slightly different in that it seems to specialise in crabs.
Many stalls cum restaurants sells mainly crabs - compared to other markets.

Along the way, the many crabs sellers tried to convince you to patronize them. Every restaurant seems to be pushing & selling crabs.

Here the restaurants sells the different live crabs & steam-cook for you as well at no extra cost.
In Jagalchi, the sellers refers you to a separate restaurant upstairs to cook for you at additional cost.

One stall/restaurant stands out among all. This middle aged friendly man ( think he is owner) speaks well in perfect English & he skillfully convinced many curious lookers to come & see his crabs. No obligation to buy if we don't want to. No hard sell like the rest.

No wonder his restaurant is so crowded! He even asked customers like us to take pictures with him & post them on his Facebook page. Brilliant idea. Free advertisements.

    Excellent salesman & businessman indeed!

Typical local market. Visited a couple in Busan and each has a slightly different character though quite a few similarities as well.

When cooked food is sold there will be some stalls selling various types of Korean salads as well as a few fish cake stalls.

Discovered a lovely Korean traditional rice drink.

This mall is conveniently located near a few attractions of Busan like the Busan bridge and the Jagalchi Market area. We stopped in to pick up a few things and use the bathroom. One item that we are beginning to appreciate in Korea is the access to filtered drinking water near the bathrooms in malls so you can refill your water bottle. The mall is right by Nampo metro station and a 10 minute walk to the Jagalchi Market area. When we went they were doing a Pixar Fuzzy Friend exhibit.

This is a rather large underground area that is filled with many shops selling clothes, food, etc. You can spend a good amount of time if you shop in the many clothing shops. The underground shopping also allows you to avoid the street above during the cold winter period. It also leads directly to the subway station.

This was a faintly busy night market on a warm June evening. All the cooking that was going on all around us further added to the heat load. It was nice that the street was enclosed to protect the food stalls and vendors from the rain but I wonder if the enclosed roof keeps some of the heat inside.

We tried a number of different items from various food stalls but the following stood out:

A vegetarian noodle dish with a drizzle of some brown sauce came from a friendly Filipina whose noodle stand was right in the middle of the street. It was a little oily but flavorful.

Fish cakes from Gamasot came as plain or four cheese filled ones on their own bamboo sticks. They were placed in a cup and a ladle full of broth (used to cook the fish cakes) was poured inside. The fish cakes were chewy but the broth was richer than we expected. A side of dukboki (made of rice) was slightly spicy and chewy. This seemed to be the only food stall with seats inside, a definite plus, to get out of the street and rest for a short while. We bussed our own trash after we finished eating.

Overall a very good, but tight and hot night market.

Easy access by subway-Osiris station and right next to Lotte World Theme Park. Lots of ‘stuff’ to buy with a dominance of brand names. Guess there were some bargains to be had but seemed pretty expensive to me. They did have a nice range of restaurants and was able to have a nice lunch but wouldn’t bother revisiting.

This is a narrow road fronted by two rows of shops. Food stalls take up the middle of the road leaving two narrow aisles for pedestrians. Still this place is teeming with life. Worth about two hours for us.

Yongdusun Park is just within walking distance from Nampodong area. The name literally translate to Dragon Head's mountain. Since I'm a dragon, I guess this is my mountain.
Yongdusun is also the home of the Busan Tower. It's closed the day I visited but visiting its base near sunset did offer some pretty amazing views. I could only imagine the amazing view that would have rewarded me from the top of the tower. But the view from the bottom isn't any less interesting. People are interesting. Makes them interesting to watch.
Statue of General Yi Sun, a great naval commander during the 16the century. So they build a large statue of him to show how important he is.
Apart from tower that dominates the park, there's also plenty of pavilion and smaller towers to act as great backdrops for instagram selfies. Make sure you budget ample time here to account for that.
