What travellers are saying
- RochellePerth, Australia932 contributionsWe loved our visit to the monkey forest
If you follow the rules and be careful you should not have an issue!
For $8AUD per adult and around $5AUD per child it’s a relatively cheap thing to do for families
Once you enter - you can spend as much time as you want walking around and exploring the sanctuary. It’s a beautiful rainforest too after all
Monkeys are everywhere - but they are well behaved (mostly). Just use common sense and look after your belongings - don’t have things dangle down that look appealing to grab.
You can get photos with them - for $5 AUD. The workers will use your camera and you get LOADS of photos!
It’s nice to see the monkeys just playing around and being themselves.Written 23 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The whole day tour was a revelation of THE Bali! The staff and everyone we were introduced to were so friendly and helpful in understanding each part of the day’s activities, such as stopping at rice paddies, visiting a host family compound with a tour of their farm, a coffee plantation, and an ancient banyan tree. A great breakfast buffet with a view of Mount Batur, weather permitting, and a delicious lunch at the end of the ride. Bikes and gear were provided as well as rain ponchos and refreshments. Very informative and pleasant! You are going to be amazed! A special thanks to our guide Wayan!

I then had lunch in the vegan cafe - very yummy food, I perused the beautiful gift shop and purchased some lovely items then at 1pm made my way to the moon pyramid for the sound and light healing session. I've done sound healing before but this was a sensory experience that went beyond anything I've done in this space before. It was quite intense and amazing for me.
They employ an expert space holder and sensory guide who checked in on me afterward. So glad I did this.Written 18 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tour was well run, great english speaking, knowledgeable locals, who took safety as absolute paramount. Highly recommended it 👌Written 23 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Vezza1818Geneva7 contributionsMaureen is kind, warm and incredibly accurate.
I had a bioenergetic analysis with Maureen, and she was spot on. I have been struggling in my life for a little while - no sense of direction, feeling really low. WOWSERS - I have left with clear direction and a sense of purpose. I had my analysis about 4 days ago, and every single day since has been better than the last!
Maureen helped me shift whatever was holding me back, and now I am living with a renewed sense of purpose! Everything she said has resonated with me, and I am finally movign forward again.
My only regret is that I didn't see her earlier in my trip!
I will definitely be coming back to see Maureen!Written 10 May 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. You two gave us an excelent experience of Mt.Batur Sunrise Trekking. Please make yourself well prepared because the track you will took is quite challenging. You need to be fit both physically and mentally.Written 14 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- FridaMicaelaPuerto Rico291 contributionsWe decided to do the camping under Mount Batur to start the morning trekk.it was definitely a night/day to remember. We camped at the starting point of the trekk. Tents were already laid out for us with sleeping bags and mats inside. We enjoyed a dinner in front of the fireplace and we went to bed under the most beautiful sky with stars. At 3am we were awaken to have some coffee and start the trekk uphill. The view of the sunrise at the top of the volcano was amazing. They gave us a boiled egg and banana sandwich at the top for breakfast. We walked a little bit further up top to appreciate the hot steams after the sun had risen. After that we came back down and were driven to the hot springs to spend an hour in a “resort like” facility with stunning view to the lake. We skipped the coffee plantation included in the tour as we had already tried the luwak variety. Driver took us to have lunch and then to hotel.Written 18 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- John P4 contributionsThe best way to experience Bali. Made and Agus looked after us, showing us the sights of Ubud and explaining their culture and village lifestyle. It's a fun ride and the lunch at the end is awesome. It's a must do when in Bali. - Jan G2 contributionsBeautiful hike that takes about 2 hours each way. Hike is pretty straightforward assuming you have decent fitness level. We opted to go during the day in December rainy season and there was pretty much no one on the trail with us. - Mikael T1 contributionBagi and team hosts beautiful bike tours around Ubud. The tour through the countryside is breathtaking and the tour stops where local and Balinese culture and characteristics were explained were informative and interesting. The lunch at Bagi’s place was really good - its a beautiful house in charming surroundings.

Loved the location...the kindness of the staff and that they shared my happy heart experience. Before we came...I read don't do it...all it is is an Instagram photo! Well I LOVED every minute of it...never listen to negative people always listen to your heart. The world needs more values like the Balinese people and each person at the Swing had a heart of gold. I bow in Gratitude.Written 14 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ju CSingapore, Singapore14 contributionsCanyoning Kalimudah - I had a most enjoyable time with my 2 guides Rama and Jess who spoke good English and took very good care of me even as I went on this canyoning trip alone. They took a lot of videos and photographs for me, were very enthusiastic and helpful and took safety seriously so I felt very assured throughout my entire trip. I had a great time chatting with them too! Thanks once again Rama and Jess for a wonderful time today!Written 18 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - embrum2193Birmingham, UK14 contributionsWe recently were in Bali for our honeymoon and went on both the cycling tour and the white water rafting with Mason’s.
I would highly recommend the company they are very professional, the guides are all knowledgable friendly helpful and make the experience great fun!! The cycling tour is all downhill I’d say accessible to all and you can walk some sections if you want to! Great chance to see the local scenery in Bali!
The white water rafting was the best thing we did in Bali, so much fun, with severely professional and safe instructors compared to other companies where there have been recent accidents. Special shout out to Jackie our white water rafting instructor he’s amazing at his job!
All the trips have a lovely meal included and water etc as needed!
