This is a beautifully preesented art museum covering all schools of Balinese paintings in well-maintained buildings and grounds. Takes about 3 hours.

4 buildings focusing each on specific balinese styles, interesting both in terms of art history, and understanding of daily life of balinese people along the centuries.
Do not forget to enjoy your free set lunch or drink at the terrace after your visit (included in the ticket)

Bali's Blanco Renaissance Museum offers visitors first and foremost a wonderful view of the entrance to the museum itself and its surrounding garden. Similarly, its external and internal architecture are lovely, and its rooftop, accessible from the terrace exit on the second floor of the museum, contains some lovely sculptures and wonderful views of Ubud and the region surrounding itself.

The artwork by Antonio Blanco and his son is interesting (as are some of its frames), and for prospective visitors who would like to learn more about Blanco, his biography in Wikipedia is worth reading.

Entrance fee is reasonable -- just over six US dollars. Photography inside the museum is not pemitted.

I highly recommend this studio for ceramic classes. The owner is wonderful and so are her teachers. I learned more in two lessons than my 16 weeks in NYC! It is an amazingly beautiful open studio surrounded in natural beauty.

Astounding, amazing artwork! Blown away by the talent, set up and friendliness. Our taxi driver had stopped here on the way to Ubud centre as I was desperate to see artwork in Bali and it did not disappoint! The sheer talent, time and thought gone into these pieces of work left me speechless - I had never seen hand paintings like these in my life. I had chosen an outstandingly intricate and impeccable piece of traditional Keliki artwork. The front of house/owner was so genuine, talented and welcoming, the piece of artwork I chose happened to be painted by his own very teacher. He took the time to show me around the gallery and explain the story and meaning behind mine and various other paintings. In my opinion the value they set are very reasonable and worth every penny however I did negotiate on the price. I love how they inspire and teach the younger generations to carry on the tradition. If I had any artistic talent in me I would have definitely loved to attend a class. A must go if you're into art! 10/10

We dropped by after enjoying the Campuhan Ridge Walk.
It's not an art gallery, but unlike the open markets, this family-owned shop has a wide range of local crafts, all of excellent quality.
We had a great experience! All of our many questions were answered and we felt no pressure whatsoever.
If you want to bring back home a souvenir or two from Ubud/Bali, this is the place to go.

First thing I notice is how big the museum building from outside. And that makes me amaze even more is how bigger it actually is! You’ll see full of details dragon statue on the stairs to main entrance, then you’ll find ticket counter, then the magic begins. The museum has huge variation of arts on display. It has 3 storeys on the main building, and few other smaller bungalows around it. Yes, they’re all full of paintings and arts. It’s really nice to wonder around as I found a lot of interesting paintings. You can take photos at most of the museum’s part.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would do so. Following an email request Soemantri and the team helped me to track down the artist of a painting that we had seen during a visit to Ubud 3.5 years ago. Not only did they find the artist, but much to my surprise and delight the actual painting was currently available. They then facilitated a negotiation between the artist and I. Once a price was agreed, Titian also facilitated my payment (from the UK) and organised the shipping. I have now received my painting and I could not be happier.
I have been blown away by the courtesy, attentiveness and integrity shown by Soemantri and the Titian team throughout the process. I wholeheartedly recommend this gallery.

This is an oasis in busy Ubud. A bit like it was
20 years ago but more glamorous. There is an interesting array of Balinese art including a
Gallery devoted to Walter Spies plus some
changing exhibitions. There are 2 pavilions devoted to art work - paintings and carvings. When we visited young boys were learning gamelan and young girls traditional dancing. The 100k rp ticket price includes a drink in one of 2 cafes. Some people think this is expensive but it’s only Aus $10 and is supporting Balinese art and the people.

We enjoyed visiting the gallery, particularly the upstairs works, but the manager, Wayan, then invited us to come back and observe a painting workshop with the artist, Wayan, whose work that we loved was featured upstairs. Fabulous, so we booked our own private painting workshop for a couple of nights later.
My wife and I love the workshop. Wayan, the artist, was supportive and attentive to our individual styles. Wayan can also work with children.
It was one of the highlights of our trip to Ubud. Komaneka guests can get a discount on the workshop.

Well worth the visit. A beautiful museum dedicated to the wood carving master works of Tilem and his father Njana. The museum is in the heart of Mas, a village dedicated to wood carving and presents selected pieces of its two great historical master carvers Ida Bagus Njana and Ida Bagus Tilem. There is also Balinese antiques, paintings and masks on display.

Njana and Tilem, changed the face of Balinese carving. Njana took simple carving lines to a new level and Tilem introduced works using naturally distorted driftwood to express emotion and abstract thought form.

The museum itself has an architectural style reminiscent of the bygone era of Majapahit kingdom.

The second section of the museum is a private collection of the family. A small museum shop is downstairs and if you have time, stay and have lunch. The cafe looks closed, but it is not closed. This museum has not had its official Grand Opening, just a soft opening at this stage. The grounds are huge and there is plenty to do here - so plan a 2 hour stay or more.
