The cooking class was fantastic. It was well organized and so much fun. It was easy to follow the directions and produce great food. After cooking, the feast was shared by everyone in the group and we all got to eat what we cooked. The market that we went to before the class was also amazing.

I would highly recommend this class to anyone. It was a really great time.

We have a great evening learning to cook traditional Bali dishes with Putu at her home! She took time to share with us various traditions and information about Balinese culture too. We are picked up from our hotel (and also sent back at the end) and the entire experience is comfortable and enriching. Having an authentic local experience beats visiting attractions all day, we went home having a full stomach with lots of knowledge on species/ingredients/cooking skills!

This was an awesome experience!! Our driver, Awan, picked us up at our hotel We met our chef/instructer at the market. Amazing all the vegetables and fruits! Then off to the cooking class in the country. The place was beautiful and Very Clean. We got to work chopping and preparing our food. After all the cooking we sat down to a FABULOUS MEAL!! We received a video and cookbook with the recipes. Awan then picked us up and on the way back to the hotel we stopped to try tea and coffee. We had the opportunity to try the Cat-poo-chino
Luwak coffee. A fabulous experience and reasonably priced. If you have time this is a MUST Do!!!!
On the way to and from Awan was a wealth of information. 10 Stars!

Really great fun. Visited local market, learnt about some of the produce and then onto the farm for a tour and cooking.

    Loved the recipes and techniques.

The cookbook provided will be a regular reference at home.

We had a group of 17 family and friends go on this tour and it was the hughlight of our trip!

There were a few more hills than we expected but the hospitality shown by our tour guide as well as Nyoman the owner made those hills worth it!

Definitely recommend giving it a go.

Enjoyed our cooking course. Was great to understand the importance of the basic ingredients in Balinese cuisine. Perfect for the grandkids to have a go. Appreciated the pick up and drop off service.

I can't underscore enough the uniqueness of this Travelling Spoon experience, being it is within the context of a working farm. The setting really helped us dive 'one more click' further upstream into the local food culture, than even other typical TS experiences. Kadek and his cohort Apung were so gracious with their knowledge & hospitality; we learned much not just about the ingredients & food we were handling, but about the Balinese culture that cultivates all of it. The food itself was fun and delicious. The particular highlights for me was assembling the Bumbu Bali (the base that went into multiple dishes), and shaping...then grilling and devouring... the Sate Lilit; using tuna in this case. The organic farm team have a wonderful mission, and they obviously enjoy sharing their jewel with curious & hungry visitors like us. I wish them and future TSers in Bali a future of many more rewarding encounters!

Rondana is an amazing instructor. Our food actually turned out outstanding! He's patient and knowledgeable about the food and it's attachment to his country. He made sure that we had fun while cooking, but at the same time learning about what we're doing.

This is a must-have experience. Wisnu was my tour guide and chef, who was a perfect example of Balinese culture. Friendly, inviting and educational, he made me feel like I was at home.I felt safe and by the end of it, Wisnu felt like a great friend.

Norman, the owner of BagasTour, was my driver for 3 days during my December 2023 stay in Bali. He speaks very good English, drives an air conditioned vehicle and is very knowledgeable about the area and various temples and destinations. Several times, he suggested waterfalls and other sites that really enhanced the days of sightseeing. He is an Ubud native, and on the day we first met, he very kindly assigned his dad to return me to my hotel on the spot, since I did not know how to get there.

We had a great afternoon cooking vegetarian dishes with Putra. Dishes were delicious and not too difficult to make. Beautiful gardens. We received a recipe booklet so that we can try to make the recipes at home. We were conviently picked up and dropped off at the hotel.

Toni was an amazing driver and tour guide. He was on time and it was easy to communicate with him. Everything went smoothly and we felt safe with him. We were also able to book with him directly which gave us a chance to see and experience more of Bali. Toni also had very good recommendations and was very helpful. Anytime we had questions, he would try his best to answer. I would recommend Toni as your driver.
