What travellers are saying
- Jason t5 contributionsEnjoyed the traditional market. It was a great experience to see the locals buying fruit and vegetables and local food around the market. There is a buzz amongst the crowd.Written 7 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RaymondaleKuala Lumpur, Malaysia801 contributionsCame here many time.it is the biggest supermarket in sanur.last time i came here in June 2019.that time i purchased some drinks, tissue papers and also bought a book from periplus bookstore.not sure if the price here good or not,but i dislike their policy, that is you must keep your bag at their counter.i normally love to bring a bag with me,i can put my wallet, mobile phones, passport, etc into it.so i think it is not customer friendly.that time i have to bring my tote bag,put my valuables into it,and store my bag at the counter, then i can go inside.now heard that it was renamed, maybe next time will go there to have a look.Written 31 May 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Adventurer3122608 contributionsBrowsing eating bargaining and having fun, this place is worth a look not too great for the unsteady folk as it's a bit up and down but the friendly locals will help out! For the fitter of us it's brilliantWritten 13 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

Only bought one thing, but would love to have bought more!Written 23 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - aneta M1 contributionI have bought few paintings in the shop. They are good quality and very cheap ( around 70 USD big painting).
What makes it different is variety of modern, portraits, abstract paintings.
Is really worth it visiting the shop.Written 11 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Helen D113 contributionsWe ate here a few times. - Karen KMelbourne, Australia30 contributionsI’m just awe struck by the handmade textiles. Truely dedicated and skilled Balinese weavers work their craft all day to create a truely beautiful and individually unique piece of cloth.
I chose my design of dress & hand woven hand dyed fabric and in a few days I will pick up 2 new 100% linen dresses made for me..... very excited. My daughter loves her bag & linen pants she bought off the rack as she couldn’t wait for a custom made.Written 19 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - QuiggsAdelaide, Australia28 contributionsI do like these markets, my two favourite fixed price shops are there, Indah and Tootsies.

I strongly recommend for anyone interested in beautiful things to make a visit!Written 28 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mapi5 contributionsWe were picked up from our hotel and taken to the silversmith’s family home where we spent the next few hours designing and creating our own original pendants. We were never told anything was too difficult and we were both individually coached through the entire process. You get to do most of the work and the master only does the more delicate/difficult parts. The end result was superb. Pick up/drop off, 10 grams of silver and a glimpse of family life all included in the 450K price.
Smiles and laughter were free.
Highly recommendWritten 21 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Pearl TAuckland, New Zealand9 contributionsIt's a market, if you want high end fashion this is the wrong place for you. It is the experience to barter, they will go high, you go low and hopefully negotiate in the middle of something you can both agree. If not, you walk away. Usually, from the first shop you can gauge the pricing. It is a good place to learn you bartering skill and take in the experience. What Sales Rep isn't pushy, come on now?? It's their job and lifestyle. Good patience run, before you take on Kuta Market's I say?Written 18 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Carl&DawnDurham, UK63 contributionsWe spent 2 full days with Leo during our Bali trip Dec/jan 19/20
He is very funny and has an infectious laugh and our days with him were excellent. He is very knowledgeable of Bali (being a native), and is passionate about the place. We visited many sights and he is very informative and interesting. We visited rice fields, big swing, silver jewellery factory, batik factory, Lake Batu and saw the volcanoes - absolutely stunning.
We did temples, restaurants, The Justice Palace (my fab) - and all absolutely beautiful.
We did So much in the time we had.... and all excellent. Would highly recommend using Leo - he is great company and we had such fun. We feel we left a new friend behind in Bali. He was very helpful too at the end of our stay. We got caught up in the Emirates bad weather debacle and our flight was cancelled last minute. Leo was free so took us to a hotel near the airport and then collected us next morning and took us back to the airport to catch our new flight.
You won’t regret choosing Leo. Great guy and very fair prices 😊Written 17 January 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Cyndi GBandung, Indonesia3 contributionsJunglegold is a local chocolate brand from Bali, came by this place by accident when we were passing by so we decided to visit. The little place is lovely, the staffs are so nice, they offer testers for their chocolates and they have a variety of choices like chocolate bars, drops, spread, etc. They also have a café there so you can sit there and relax while you have their chocolate or coffee based drinks and chocolate desserts (I recommend their chocolate based drinks and desserts, they're so good). Absolutely must visit if you're passing by this area and if you're a chocolate lover like myself, indulge yourself in delicious chocolates! I will come back 😉Written 5 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sampy30Sydney, Australia105 contributionsToured this small winery & tasted some lovely wines. Local host is friendly & informative & spoke good English. Purchased several wines here that are half the price from Hatten wines in bottle shops & resorts.Written 8 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Melinda J1 contributionI took my favourite boots to Sanur hoping I could get a replica pair made. I'm so glad I found Rippull Leather because my new boots are a perfect match for my old favourites and they are super comfortable too! I selected a soft leather and a suede lining I honestly could not be happier.
I also had a handbag and belt made in a soft leather that I selected and both are beautifully made and high quality. Next visit I'm going to get a leather jacket made up and I can't wait!Written 3 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
