We attended with kids aged 6 & 7. Had a fantastic day on the slides. We never waited longer than 2 mins if that for the slides. The climb up the stairs carrying the tubes is brutal on the thighs lol.
Our kids were tall enough for most of the slides & had an absolute ball.
We hired a cabana in the oasis garden (64). It was infested with mosquitoes. I spoke to staff and they came with an electric tennis racket as a solution. We got eaten alive and did not use it. A waste of money. I did get a bit annoyed with having my picture taken after each and every slide. The park is very clean and has great facilities. The cashless system was easy enough. All the staff were lovely and helpful. Other than cabana issue it was a great family day.

Visited at mid day so can’t comment on the extent of the lighting that others have mentioned. Quite a bit of litter within the monument area itself. A litter bin nearby would be useful. Question? What sort of morons would drop litter around the monument. Disgraceful.🙄
The actual site of the Sari club is directly opposite partially surrounded by solid wooden fencing but you can look inside easily. The site has been completely cleared and no evidence remains of the building that once stood there.

Seems that this shopping centre has become part of our 'go to list' when visiting Bali. More vibe since our visit during May with large numbers of pedestrians, shops seemingly doing great trade, restaurants busy. One big detraction, the large black hoardings at the main entry, no doubt a new shopping experience coming soon, but a colour other than black hoarding would be less harsh. M & S must have listened to my complaint about lack of sizes last visit, on this occasion not a problem, I was able to make some purchases from quite a good range of clothing. Sometimes big men do win.

The way to beach is good, seems new development, entering the gate and side by side, its pitty there is bad environment un finished building construction. The beach is quite good, huge parking lot, musholla available eventhough need touch up seriously (cleanliness), it is recommended as one of good destination in Bali. We have to tightening schedule since we have to catch up to KECAK DANCE. Thank you

This mall has changed a lot since before COVID. There used to be big hall full of Bali souvenirs, clothes and handicrafts that is now gone. We were primarily interested in clothes and souvenirs so we did not explore much. The main floor is upscale shops. The mezzanine is smaller clothing shops and a smattering of souvenirs. We asked around and were directed to the bottom floor. I forget the name, but this is a big mid range department store. Go down the escalator and go to the far left hand corner of the store. There you will find a really good assortment of quality Bali handicrafts at surprisingly reasonable prices (fixed). Not all the usual ticky tacky stuff of many shops. You can exit directly to the street through the glass doors to the right of this area.

Visiting same time of the year as on previous visits here and found, on this occasion, slightly cooler, less humid and more pleasant overall.
Streets and beaches are noticeably cleaner than we remember. Made for pleasant swimming this time.

Our favourite beach in south Bali. You can swim and surf here. 100K for an hour of surfing (great deal). Lots of local restaurants beach front. Soft white sandy beach. There are rocks at low tide. Not crowded at all. Short walk down stairs from our resort, Lajoya. This was our favourite beach we came across on our time in south Bali.

Lovely white sand surf beach…very popular …lots of learner surfers, waves aren’t too big but good for learning and up to intermediate (while we were there anyway)…there are flags to swim between but I didn’t notice any sort of life guard duty going on…..walk down a path from the road, parking for motorbikes, there is a small charge to park bike…we stayed at klapa resort which is above the beach and walk down stairs to beach.some small shops along path to beach, selling usual touristy stuff.beach chair and umbrella are 100,000idr pp….free shade by the cliff…beach club above is 100,000 idr pp which is a credit towards food or drink and you can go down to beach and come back up to swim in infinity pool and lie on comfy lounger, and spectacular view.beach is lovely but nothing you wouldnt get anywhere in nz or Aussie

I needed to find an apple repair centre and thought there might be one in this area. As it was, it was a sales only operation, but was still one of the best shops in this area.

It is hot, intense and you get harassed a lot by traders and taxi drivers. It can get very busy and the roads are quite dangerous so we only ever went there when we needed something.

if shopping is your thing, it may be okay for you, but it’s a visit only when required place for us.

This is a fishing village with many local seafood restaurants. There also a local seafood market where you can bargain for the fresh seafood and bring it to the many restaurant nearby to cook to your liking (cooking price around USD 1.5 per kg).

Food taste is the same as their ifamous sister beach at Jimbaran

Beautiful church in Kuta Bali, provides a rich spiritual experience, fostering a sense of community, love, and service. Its teachings and traditions create a welcoming environment, encouraging personal growth and a deep connection with faith

It was three years since we’d last visited this area and it has changed for the better. It seems that in the intervening period there has been a lot of investment and it is almost unrecognisable.

We always do a long walk out to the airport and so we’re taken aback at the development. New resorts, new walkway and general improvements in the condition of things and cleanliness.

It was quite a long way from our hotel, but we would definitely consider staying in this area now as it is quiet, but also very beautiful.
