- BTB0577Adelaide, Australia1 contributionHad a great time with my son. Very nice, clean place. Staff are very patience and kind. - carlyflybirdyPerth, Australia37 contributionsMy daughter really wanted to try this experience, so I was happy to pay the additional money as the staff who give lessons are very good at what they do and look like they have fun each day. The waiver you have to sign when purchasing a ticket was a little worrying. My daughter is 8, and had perhaps 6 goes overall, sharing with four others. The staff ran through a safety check, showing how to fall and slide correctly to avoid an injury. The park photographer took some great photos of my daughter on this ride and we ended up buying one from this experience. We also enjoyed seeing some visitors have a go and trying some tricks.Written 23 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tomac1957Perth, Australia160 contributionsWe had a blast locked in Shutter Asylum and managed to escape in 1 hour 45 mins with lots of help from our game master. Some of the clues made no sense but we had a good laugh trying to figure them out. Compared to the escape rooms in Perth this was far more adventurous. We were 2 couples in our 60's and had no trouble crawling or climbing through room after room. If you enjoy escape rooms Pandora is a must.Written 30 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- StaceyMelbourne, Australia7 contributionsMy 9 year old daughter loved her lesson. She was able to complete 3 different ways of being caught by the man swinging at the end. She recieved her 3 certificates and is very proud of her efforts that day and its definitely a highlight of our holiday for her. The men running this activity were amazing and very caring and encouraging towards her.
It looked so fun I even had a couple of go's at it and its harder then it looks, im 34!!
My 6 year son had a couple of goes but he needed to be a bit older I think to really get more out of it. No-one will regret giving this a go!!Written 31 January 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They organize groups based on each person's skill level, ensuring everyone gets the right amount of challenge and support.
The instructors are polite and friendly; they pay close attention to each student.
They also offer solid theoretical lessons to understand surfing better.
Additionally, their error analysis is very constructive and useful, helping students improve quickly.Written 11 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. At the beginning I was scared, but the instructors was really professional and explain us that it's totally safe because they took us to the safety place and fit with our level ( they explain while we enjoyed our aloha punch its welcome drink healthy smoothie, delicious!! They said that's for energy😁) .On the water I feel safe because they do 1 instructor with only 2 students, and with child they do 1 on 1. When they say safety number 1 is true. And not only that! They gave us coconut after surfing!! What a relieve! We analyze our movement..we took SURF package 6 lesson!! And definitely we come back again this july and will do photo n videos too this time!!!( maybe we try the SURF camp!)
TOTALLY BEST SURFING EXPERIENCE ON OUR NEW YEAR!!

Very friendly and professional staff, both taking off and landing were stable and the experience up in the air was impeccable. A must-try activity in Bali. Hoping could fly further and see more sightseeing in the future!Written 31 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - mutsumiTokyo, Japan3 contributionsEven though it was my first surf in my life, I was late for about 15 minutes due to traffic and was worried that I would not be able to take lessons. But I was able to take the lessons firmly and I was able to enter the sea with confidence 😊
I was able to spend a very fulfilling time with a lot of information on how to surf safely at the sea and how to identify good waves.
After getting out of the sea, you can get detailed feedback while watching photos of yourself standing on the surfboard, and know what you need to be aware of the next time you surf.
It was a surfing experience that I definitely wanted to go surfing again. I highly recommend to take this class!✨
p.s. The smell of coconut from the bath towel was amazing.
Written 8 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is a true street food tour; seeing the locals prepare the food, sitting on stools by the side of the road and eating simple but delicious treats. Its also really interactive and you get to try and make your own food using the street vendors tools. The girls are funny, informative and great scooter drivers. Definitely give this tour a go!Written 27 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ACjourneysJakarta, Indonesia22 contributionsDid the Whitewater rafting adventure down Ayung river around mid Dec. It was fun!
The walk to Ayung river is 15 - 20 min walk downhill from the registration area. You can bring your phones, wallets etc as they will put it in a waterproof bag for you. Do bring your phone (for photo ops - though Sobek will have professional photographers taking photos of you along specific areas of the river) and wallet (at the break area, you may want to buy snacks and drinks but at a premium price).
The whitewater rafting is about 1.5 hrs along Ayung river with a rest break in the middle. The rapids are not crazy and family friendly (my 7 yr old had a great time!). We had a wonderful guide called Pak Wayan (nickname "Rambo"!) who spoke fluent english and provided additional tour guide info to make the rafting more fun and educational.
Buffet lunch was available at the end of the rafting but one of the most satisfying part was the clean hot shower at the end of the rafting. The shower facilities was large, private and clean. Towels were even fluffy!
Pros:
- Professional and western standards to the rafting (e.g. little things like providing elastic band sunglasses strap so you don't lose your sunglasses during the rafting etc)
- Hot, clean, private showers with fluffy towels
- Good guide (@Pak Wayan/Rambo)
Cons:
- No first aid kit
- The walk down to the river and back up may be strenuous for some
- Lifejacket and helmets needed some cleaning as they were a bit smellyWritten 24 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He provided great tactical knowledge and insight to each break along with perspective and history. He is truly focused on making sure the experience is enjoyable and is super cool to talk to. Additionally was always on time with transportation and flexible. Whether you need a surf guide or lessons Edwin is the best.Written 23 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - carlyhillBali, Indonesia28 contributionsI can highly recommend Quiksilver surf school. The staff is very friendly and so helpful for small kids. So many options for surf schools in kuta, but there is only one you should go to! - oldskoolassassin40 contributionsWe were excited to try everything out but it's sooooo busy. Less than 5 minutes parasailing, jetskiing had an instructor, banana boat time was also short.
The worst part was turtle island, hundreds of large turtles in hot stinky water, everything in little bare cages!Written 5 December 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
