We stayed a block off the beach at the Prime Plaza Hotel. Easy walk there, restaurants, shops etc along the way.

Beach is busy area off this street and not as nice or kept up. Walking north to the right and along Sanur Beach gets to much better areas, nicer beach front, more sand and way more services.

This beach area has adjacent markets, restaurants, shops, mini marts, everything you need. Easy to rent out lounge chairs, umbrellas, etc. , easy water access and not overly busy..

There are not many market stalls here, mainly food stalls serving a good range of street food at great prices, if you want shopping there are loads to choose from out on the main road. We only go for the Martabak which is like a big fried omelette with different fillings plus the banana and Nutella pancakes from the same stall, absolutely lush and great value.

I didn't think this shopping center was much of a tourist attraction.
Just a large shopping center full of shops selling cars, home wares and people taking selfies that tourist are not interested in.
The TripAdvisor reviews and their own websites don't show anything exciting.
But this is a very exciting shopping center with many different restaurants.
Also jewelry shops, shoes, clothing, glasses and a large kids Funworld computer game center.
They will soon be opening a cinema too.
We should have gone here around 4Pm and had something to eat then watch some of the night time attractions out side like at the amphitheater.
Plus this place would look amazing all lit up at night.

Many businesses in area have close over pandemic e.g., on Sindhu St leading to beach.
Beach has interesting rock groynes worth a walk and selfie if you’re inclined.
Fear this area will become on my to avoid list given that monstrous construction
of shopping mall and resort next to beach.
Will look more to central & south Sanur in future.

It’s informative on plantation and Ingredients being grown in house the staff explains every detail of plants and process from fruit to beans to processing. The journey follows with free tasting of local tea and coffee brews but one has to pay idr 50k for a cup of lawak coffee which is normal for a person like but I tried it any which ways

This Square was included on our list of things to see during a visit to Denpasar. It can get be confusing without the services of a good driver and guide. There were probably no more than five or six people present when we visited mid morning. The area was clean and well maintained with a paved walkway leading to the imposing statue of Bajra Sandhi Monument which is not open to the visitor. Shame, as it was my prime purpose for the visit.

Really a continuation of Mertasari beach and featuring similar facilities, cafes, bars, activities etc. as other beaches in the Sanur area. Abundant deckchairs and beach umbrellas available for hire to the tourist.

Our driver (@indraketut) took me here. I couldn't face going into every shop, but went into every shop for two blocks. The sellers outside are very insistent and I was advised to keep my wallet in a zipped pocket. Lots of the materials are the same in the shops, but there were some good finds. My driver/guide made the experience hassle free. I think this is the only way to do it. I chose the fabrics and he asked my questions and organised the prices. I was buying fabric for patchwork mostly. The prices were a quarter of the price I'd pay in Australia. I suspect this is why my experience may be better than others who ventured in without a local. It was worth the money to have Indra with me for the shopping trip.

Browsing eating bargaining and having fun, this place is worth a look not too great for the unsteady folk as it's a bit up and down but the friendly locals will help out! For the fitter of us it's brilliant

Love shopping at Matahari when in Bali. Unfortunately the store in Kuta has shut down since Covid so took a trip to Denpasar to visit this store. Was not disappointed. Large assortment of shoes & men’s wear which is what we had come for. Only disappointment was there was no grocery department at this store.

This is special for you an art enthusiast! Werdhi Budaya Art Centre is a must visit spot, especially on June-July because they hold Bali Arts Festival as an annual art event. I am so lucky to be able to capture some of BAF 2019 moments when I go there. There's a lot things you can explore here, way from watching art performance until seeing around art gallery.

visited here many years ago.heard that it has a renovation.so this year, when i had my Nov-Dec trip to Bali,on the last day,i came here with my driver.after renovation, now all stalls moved to the new building.i think the old market more charming,i remember it is open air,.now there are many levels in the building, they even have a lift! too modern. there are frutis, veggies, clothes, snacks, traditional stuffs on sale here.i bought some snacks, like peanuts, pie susu, bali dessert.i bargained with the seller, and got a rather good price.if you love to see everyday life of local people, pasar badung still worth a visit.

Just come back from Ramayana Mall. This is the best place to go to buy shoes, clothing, kids wear. No bartering, fixed price but cheap. Also there is a Skechers second store there and I bought them for around $50 pair. But also if you have time, on the top floor there is a massage place. I got the best massage there - 1 hour cost 75,000 Rp. Well worth it.

Staying at the Mercure and a short stroll to this beach. The white sands appeal: looks great when the tide is in and seemed a popular area for families with young children. Restaurants, cafes and bars abound and, if interested, the Sindhu Market is within walking distance. The area is popular for watersport activities, participants just need to be aware of their surroundings and stay safe.
