- Hannah D2 contributionsMunna made my memories of Varanasi incredible and I will always remember and cherish the day we spent together! I booked in for a 1 hour tabla lesson with Munna and ended up staying for 3 hours! I loved it so much that after the lesson we headed straight to the local handmade tabla shop and bought a tabla and sent it home to the UK! Munna is so calm, knowledgable, patient and inspiring I could have spent all day learning and talking with him. Also, he was so helpful and kind in helping me choose and post a tabla, I couldn’t recommend Taal music enough. I learnt so much and have a passion for a new instrument and musical culture that I’m definitely taking home with me! Thank you so much, Munna! - TheFabEmma20 contributionsKunal is a fantastic guide. He obviously loves his city of Varanasi where he grew up which really came across. He showed us secluded temples and got us a great spot at the Aarti without having to queue. We had a bespoke afternoon tour with heritage walk and visited a Hindu priest. So interesting. After the Aarti we went to a tiny restaurant for street food. Delicious and not tummy upset.
Kunal also helped us find another guide, Sanjay, for when he was unavailable who was also superb. Both very knowledgeable and passionate.
And for those interested in Top Gear, Kunal was the Varanasi guide for James May on ‘Our Man in India’.Written 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He fixed a big hotel booking issue we had and without his help we would have had nowhere to stay, he fixed everything for us and then took us on an amazing set of tours. By the end of our two days with Karan he felt like an old trusted friend and we look forward to meeting him again one day maybe.

- Emma H1 contributionWe went on a sunrise cruise with Sunil. We watched the sun rise, while sipping on delicious Masala Chai Tea. Varanasi is very peaceful at this time of day and so, so photogenic.
Sunil was very knowledgeable about the Ghats, Hinduism, and Varanasi. He spoke wonderful English and had a great sense of humour. He told us everything we needed to know and more about Varanasi. He had a great sense of humour and was curious to learn about our country, just as we were curious to learn about his. We highly recommend Varanasi Boat Tours for your trip to this magical city.Written 11 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Even if the boat trip was not possible in this season due to the heavy rains, he took us for a great walk through his city making us discover places that by ourselves could not even get near to, and he explained us a great amount of things about the city, religion, habits, and everything else. You can trust him without any esitation.Written 22 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Daniel BMunich, Germany8 contributionsWe are from germany and are travelling for over a year now and hardly book tours. But in India and especially Varanasi we felt we are going to miss a lot without a guide. And we were right !
Ravi was the best guide I had in all my different trips. He is able to let you experience Varanasi and the spirituality of this place in a deeper way. He showed us around the whole day including a sunrise on the ganges, a city tour with an street food tasting, visiting multiple ghats and temples and a visit to the sunrise ceremony at the main ghat. We visited this ceremony the night before already but had only mediocre seats. Ravi managed to get us to a really good place so we could get also some magical pictures this time.
If you are into, you can also visit the cremation ghat with him, which we also did.
Thank you Ravi, you made Varanasi to something really special in our heart !Written 28 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alexander B10 contributionsAwesome tour discovering the vast culinary heritage Varanasi has to over. Kuldeep did not only show us all those hidden gems among the thousands of shops but also the beauty of Varanasi’s lanes and alleys. - SpanishworldSan Sebastian de los Reyes, Spain194 contributionsGreat services totally reliable in Varanasi and also very efective finding and providing services in other areas of India.
I met them several years ago and, since them, for every trip to India I contact them and obtain always a quotation and good advice from them. They are not always the most competitive in price (in certain areas of India) but they always are very helpful.
This time I contracted one of the managers, RAVI, and he gave us a very interesting 5 hours walking tour all around the old Varanasi (because of the water level he warned us before hand that the boats were not runing or really usable.
They also speak Spanish.
They are 100% reliable!! Highly recommended!!Written 2 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
