- Naomi T4 contributionsI was walking in one of Varanasi's ghats as I suddenly saw this places sign- and decided to walk in and see what's in there... What a great decision to go and visit !! I was struggling with some dilemmas in my life and guruji was able to provide a lot of very helpful and deep guidance. I came back to talk to him a few times while I stayed in Varanasi, and also started practicing a few things he told me to do and I was able to notice a big change inside me and also have a better and clear view of how to solve my dilemma... If you are seeking for any kind of guidance, spiritual or mental help this is definitely the place for you. - Justina A1 contributionI went to the Vedanta society a few times with a friend of mine in the beautiful city of Varanasi. We sang very beautiful, peaceful and devotional mantras and were very well accompanied by a member of the society that played the accordion. After singing and a short meditation we had a private lecture about the essence of Vedanta, namely the remembrance and recognition of our true nature, our divine being (consciousness). I think we talked for about two hours without noticing how fast the time went. The member of the society really took his time and explained the essence very clearly. I chose him because of very good comments of other students and I am very glad I started takkng lessons with him. He was very flexible and punctual and has a very professional way of teaching. He can adapt easily to your level and although i didnt have a lot of time we covered quite a lot of stuff. I will definitely go back for more lessons next year!! My husband, friend and I had just completed a 1500km, self supported bike ride from Gangotri to Varanasi. We were following the Ganga from near its source high up in the Himalayas to its sacred heart in Varanasi. My friend was on her “sleeping bike”. I cannot thank Learn Henna Varanasi enough for the beautiful job she did on my hand and forearm and by doing so she really added to the specialness of our day. Upon our return to Scotland my henna tattoo was greatly admired by family, friends and strangers. Thank you once again for having me in your home and being a vital part of our special day. I will cherish the memories of my henna tattoo, our Hindu Service and our visit to Varanasi always. She is very knowledgeable in both northern and southern Indian cuisine and can teach you how to make just about anything! All you have to do is ask. I really recommend learning how to make her Ayurvedic teas and her pickled mango. They were so delicious. You will always leave Latta’s class feeling satisfied. I enjoyed my first class so much that I found myself booking several more. The best part is you will always leave with extra food left over for dinner.
