Attempts to find such a shop in other cities on my trip had failed. This shop had lots of it, antique, beautiful stones, coral, pearls…
The man in the shop was patient and attentive. In fact, to be able to do so, he doesn’t accept tour groups. I ended up with a necklace of yellow gold beads interspersed between quality pieces of Lapis, which my wife very much enjoyed but there were other items there that I’m sure she would also have loved.
I’d definitely recommend this shop if you’re looking for quality antique Indian jewellery and you’re prepared to pay accordingly.
