Always wanted visit this magnificent white marble mausoleum in Agra. Finally got to experience this larger than life masterpiece. We had to get up really early to get nearby and then ride a small tram to the entrance and a long line. All this happened before sunrise. Once we got inside of a primary building we walked out to the large courtyard gardens and the Taj Mahal in the center, sided by a mosque and guest building as the sun rose. To walk inside you must cover your shoes with provided booties. Inside are the tombs of the Shah and his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who he had the mausoleum built for. There are many people but it doesn't feel too crowded due to the large area of gardens and size of the buildings.

Just a short drive less than 10 minutes from Taj Mahal. This fort is amazed with the architect at that time. Suggestion to have a guide for better understanding and avoid to get souvenirs from entrance. Lots of open space so is better to have sunshade as well caps or umbrella with you during the one hour or more time inside.

A visit to what is affectionately known as the ‘Baby Taj’ A beautiful Mughal mausoleum that has been built in perfect symmetry. The craftsmanship has to be seen to be believed as it was all done by hand.

A truly incredible place doing great work to give rescued dancing bears a safe and nurturing place to spend the rest of their lives. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the sloth bears and gave us lots of information about how they provide opportunities to communities who were previously dependent on income from the dancing bears so that they had a source of income that did not put sloth bears through this abuse again. We saw the bears going about their everyday life and this was so special to see. The sanctuary doesn't get many visitors which is such a shame as they are doing amazing work for these animals and are a genuinely ethical animal excursion to do in India. Would visit again and again. Please visit this lovely place.

This was Shah Jahan's bathroom; but what a bathroom!! He had it constructed with extra thick walls so that the inside would always have a pleasant temper. To me, it is the most magnificent building in Agra Fort.

Mehtab Bagh is realy good specially either in early morning and evening. Taj Selfie point is also near by [This is maintained by UP Government]. But parking to this place is not well mainitaned. even fater paying Rs 100 for car parking, you have to either walk for ~1km or shell out another 100Rs for local autos. Where as locals, Government Vehicles can go close to both Mehtab Bagh and Taj Selfie point.

The highlights of the show are the grandeur surrounding the stage lighting and the costumes of performers and of course the the Taj replica that is shown under various natural situations. The sound infrastructure however is poor as someone sitting at the balcony will hardly get clarity of voice if listening to original language.

Visited today.Quite sad to think the emperor Jahan was imprisoned here by his so. Who also killed his brother, so much for family values and spells out greed and power.Nonetheless what a view of the Taj Mahal from here…not a bad prison cell

On my visit, the majority of attendees were locals coming to pray and worship at this Sikh temple. The premises are well maintained, be prepared to remove your footwear to enter the temple.

WHEN I walked into one building at Jama Masjid I felt like I was on the set of some Hollywood blockbuster which had created a strange alien environment.
Carved beams criss-crossed overhead with unusual carved decorations beneath each intersection.
It was not the first surprise that a tour of Fatehpursikri would throw at me.
Jama Masjid is a 16th century mosque, one of the largest in India, and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The courtyard is gigantic, covering more than 230,000 sq ft.
Be warned. You have to take your shoes off to be allowed in, women must wear long gowns and men in shorts will be asked to wear a wrap which can be hired at the entrance.

We hired a tuk tuk driver to take us to the red fort, baby Taj and view point ( including waiting time for 2 adults ) for 500 rupees approx 5 hrs .We had a great time. This was my favourite part of the red fort as it had many little exquisite rooms , some with a view of the Taj Mahal .We even spotted a little bat above the door way.Be warned it is one of the busier places .We didn’t have a guide as we read up about the place beforehand and there were ample signs to indicate what u are looking at

My friend and I stopped by after a morning at the Taj Mahal. We were immediately greeted by Alark who showed us around and let us experience this wonderful art. We both ended up purchasing beautiful jewelry and handbags. This is a definite stop when in Agra. Lovely history and unique items to bring home.
