We visited SOS Elephant conservation centre with kids. It was a wonderful experience especially for kids to know how SOS efforts are helping Elephants and nature and was very thought provoking for them on what they can do as well for nature.

Reading story of each rescue elephant was very moving and it was great to see SOS doing such an amazing work and we could chip in with small contribution in this big effort.

Highly recommend for family to visit.

Another mausoleum (like the Taj Mahal) but on a smaller scale, you get to see things more up close and personal. And there are no crowds. It is a complex of buildings, also including gates, wells, fountains and gardens. In many ways this is better than the Taj due to the quiet, and ability to see it all up close. One hour is all you’ll need. Do it.

Welcoming to non-Sikhs who are interested to visit. Interesting, calm spiritual place and free food is given to all who visit.

Starting from stunning Taj Mahal, following Namuna river banks through country side. Nearly no traffic, only nature, kids, fields and cows!

I came across this wonderful travel group called Agra Beat, through one of my good friends. They organize some great travel expeditions and niche cultural tours around Agra & parts of North India. While glancing through their website, one such unique trip that caught my eye was the lovely ‘Holi Celebrations in Mathura & Vrindavan’

Holi is the festival of colours in India and is celebrated with a lot of pomp and show. It is one of the biggest festivals in North India & is also celebrated across the country with loads of festivities. Mathura & Vrindavan is the birth place of Lord Krishna & this festival holds particular significance in these parts where is gets celebrated with lot of enthusiasm, joy and merriment. It almost goes on for an entire week of festivities with Holi celebrated in different forms, with colours, flowers & petals, lots of dancing & music, traditional yummy delicacies & fun.

We were absolutely thrilled and overjoyed to join Agra Beat’s Holi celebrations in Mathura & Vrindavan, it was such a unique cultural experience & we truly enjoyed the festivities with splashing of colours, water balloons & some yummy holi delicacies. We were a mixed group of travelers, some local & international tourists who travelled from Agra to Mathura & Vrindavan for Holi. Our Tour leader Amit & Vijendra from Agra Beat, made sure it was a well-organized & safe journey, we were looked after with utmost care and got treated to some wonderful hospitality. We made some great friends on the tour & shared some great fun moments. We have fond memories of our Holi celebrations at Mathura & would highly recommend this trip if you want a slice of life from Indian culture & loads of excitement & fun. Thanks a ton to Agra Beat for a magnificent trip! We loved it!

Rahul met us at the station and took us to both the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort. He spoke excellent English, he was very well informed, his car was comfortable and clean and he was a really nice guy! I would definitely recommend his company and have passed his contact details on to friends travelling in India.

This was an amazing experience. We are two girls who are passionate about Indian food and cuisine. This whole experience was truly amazing. Sana and her sister were very welcoming, showing us everything they were doing. At the end, we even got henna and try out some sarees. I definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a true Indian experience, with some very real Indian women!

I must say it is way cheaper than other cab companies, they listen and provide accordingly. I recommend to book one day prior to your journey for the exact service.
