Positives -
The regency is a good hotel-a little distant from the Meenakshi temple - auto costs 100/- one way
We were pleasantly.surprised to see they had upgraded our room on arrival.
The Lobby and rooms are well equipped and beautiful
- The room was spacious and very comfortable - Ac worked perfectly
-The geyser/ hot water was/is fantastic.
-In-room coffee N tea are avail N there is a mini fridge too
- well stocked snacks and coke though priced high
-the staff is courteous, well trained, unobtrusive, and informed.
-in fact when we requested for a second cleaning of the bathroom as we had returned from the beach at Rameshwaram at 8:30 pm they were kind enough to do the same.
- food both room service N at aharaam is good
- even though we had a late check.in - and it took some time on their part they arranged a all day menu lunch for us within 40 mins
- the buffet breakfast deserves a special mention as the spread is amazing very tasty and a wide selection both in terms of items and cuisine. The doughnut, cupcake were yum - pancakes were don't N buttery.

Well honestly just the one- a tad overpriced when it comes to food
110 - 190 for a glass of milk / bournvita is a bit much (60-90 range being more understandable)
Even the all-day in-room dining and a la carte food at aharaam though good is a bit pricey on a personal note.
