If there is one place that does true justice and has kept the rajasthani folk dance & music alive then it’s this place.Try to come lil early so you can grab the best seats.Mattress are put on the floor for comfort and there are benches too for seating. It’s a amazing time to see all amazing artists perform their suites with amazing discipline, skill and smile! The dances are amazing and graceful, attire is stunningly colorful and all the acts are nothing short of extraordinary. If you are taking pics they charge you 100 Rs ( $ 1.35) and tickets are only 100rs,beware of the street touts !! All in all a 5 ⭐️ place to be with family and kids!

You can't complete your trip to Udaipur without going to Pichola lake. We took a boat drive from City palace at around 3 pm for our family. It was 500 rs per head.

It is a small fort situated on a hill. Not possible to walk there so easily. We had requested our tempo traveler to take us above the hill. Initially he was not ready, but later agreed. It gives view to complete Udaipur city.

The place is nice, an island with stone carvings, temple, sitting area and cafe. Good for spending half an hour or so. The cafe could do with some more variety of food

Lovely garden, with fountains, it was built for the ladies of the royal court. Now open to everyone, a walk here takes around 20 minutes. Flowers, lotus ponds, and many people seeking a respite from the city and heat. Njce place for a break.

Fateh Prakash Palace is part of Udaipur Palace and now it is converted as Luxury Private Hotel. This is not actually tourist spot now.

This cooking class was absolutely the cherry on the cake of my Udaipur trip. Hari's love for cooking and her gift at engaging all of us in the experience made it a fun, informative and enlightening experience! I have spent a lot of time in India (and can cook a number of basic Indian meals). But Hari taught us secrets with preparation and use of spices that were invaluable. We were able to cook up 5 amazingly diverse dishes in record time. Hari is loads of fun, creative and very engaging. She is also very sensitive to the food / dietary restrictions (vegan) of others in the class and was kind enough to cook up two sets of food, for nearly all of the dishes so that those with dietary restrictions and those without could enjoy all of her culinary delights. Truly an experience not to be missed!

WOW!! An incredible experience with Mamta and her family, learning local Indian dishes. Mamta is a lovely teacher and the whole cooking class was such a fantastic experience - a true honour to have done this class. The tastes were delicious and the care put into making sure I was feeling at home and understanding everything was just incredible. I would recommend anyone to take the class. Thank you Mamta!

We really enjoyed our two-hour cooking class with Sushma. Sushma gave very thorough explanations throughout, showing us lots of alternatives to her recipes (eg for an electric stove instead of gas, for vegan cooking, for Jains etc) and giving us a lot of background. The recipe card is a helpful memento. We were able to have a go ourselves and to try the food as we went, finishing with a delicious lunch. Sushma was very communicative and helpful, even changing the time of the class slightly to help us catch a train. The kitchen is nice and clean.
