It's near a pretty lake, and the whole place is filled with beautiful flowers, soft grass, and sparkling fountains. There are even cool elephant and lion statues carved from marble!
But the most incredible thing is the fountains - almost 2,000 of them, all working without any pumps! They must create the most relaxing water sounds, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of the palace.Written 30 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TuftsTravelerSomerville, MA23 contributionsThe Ropeway in Udaipur is great fun, packed with cheerful families and groups of all ages, mostly local tourists. The unexpected trick of it for us is that, after buying your ticket, you need to visit another desk for your boarding number and then wait for that number to appear on the screen -- and the same system is used for the return trip downhill. Anticipating that you need to go quickly to get a number especially before the return, so as to limit the wait... unless you want to play the small arcade games and get snacks at both the top and bottom of the ride.Written 9 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
