- Srujana OHyderabad, India133 contributions"Om Namah Shivay! This beautiful temple, nestled in a tranquil location, is an ideal stop whether you're arriving in or departing from Udaipur. The temple complex features 108 smaller temples, each contributing to the spiritual aura of the place. While the area behind the main temple is off-limits to visitors, the serene atmosphere, stunning surroundings, and peaceful energy make it a must-visit destination for those seeking a moment of reflection and tranquility."Written 23 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alice UmfLondon, UK61 contributionsI visited Animal Aid Unlimited today. A friend volunteered here a long time ago and I said I’d pop in as I was in Udaipur. I don’t think I’ve ever been more humbled, grateful, emotional, happy and desperate at the same time. I am so so pleased I went and would recommend it to any animal lover. It’s such a short journey from the city and will undoubtedly have a profound impact on you.
The condition of some of the animals is desperate at the time they come in - two dogs were brought in just during the hour that we were there - but the deep love and passion of the people that work there is tangible and heart warming. Thank goodness this hospital/sanctuary exists and also for the people that work there who are not only doing everything they can for the animals but also working hard at educating people about the care and respect animals should receive and the love they can give back.
They have different areas for various animals, illnesses, injuries and ages. They even have a ‘Handi Heaven’ for the handicapped dogs and a cancer ward for those receiving chemotherapy!!
There is no hard sell from the workers there to get you to buy merchandise or donate but when you see their work in action it is clear how much a donation would help.
It is saddening that there are not more places like this to help all of those animals suffering.Written 22 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's not just about the shopping; it's about embracing the city's culture and the excitement that every event brings.I like the events they organized Whether it's a cultural event or a local showcase, Each event becomes a part of the mall's narrative, making it more than just a place to buy.Written 17 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jess Snaas18 contributionsThis was without a doubt the loveliest experience we have had in all of Udaipur. I left the store with the biggest smile. We walked into the shop due to their fantastic display outside, they had exactly what we were looking for. The talent that Vimala and Shyam have is extraordinary. They are the most genuine and authentic creative couple. We loved having a chat with them and their energy was infectious. We will cherish our pieces and remember this lovely encounter. We wish them and their sons nothing but the best. An absolute recommendation to all!Written 20 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Let's Go SightseeingNoida, India2,912 contributionsA calm lakeside stroll brought us to Gangaur Ghat. This is a primary ghat on Lake Pichola, & hosts festive rituals. We spent a few minutes here, absorbing the beauty of the lake.
Without a doubt, the Gangaur Ghat can be cleaner but if you ignore the dirt, it's a decent place to click photographs.Written 13 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
