The place is next to Gangaur ghat, The ghat and haweli both are just amazing.

If you are planning to visit please find MR. Yusuf Pathan( Guide) he is a silver medallist guide, he knows the place very well and his knowledge about the subject is excellent.

In the morning you can visit the museum and MR Yusuf can walk you through the Haweli.

In evening after 7 you can come here to watch the folk dance which is also great.

PS: it is also an art gallery which promotes artist throughout the India, if you are interested in art you will see some beautiful work( paintings, structures etc.)

Wow. So much going on here at this museum. The initial gallery of armaments and weapons was almost enough for the whole visit and that is just the first room! Of many many many. This is really a HUGE collection of art, artifacts, history, photos, paintings, musical instruments, etc. etc. etc. It's a bit overwhelming. Budget plenty of time or several visits so as to not get worn out.

There a beautiful serene garden with a gorgeous tree somehow on one of the top floors of the museum. How!!! It's a lovely place to take a break.

The Hall of Heroes is a special exhibition inside Maharana Pratap Memorial park that focuses on the royal family of Rajasthan. The main hall is a portrait gallery of some of the Kings of Merwar with a short biography of their rule and deeds. The second gallery is arms, armour and models of forts of Rajasthan. It's mostly interesting and worth a quick detour is you're already visiting the park, but otherwise I wouldn't go out of the way for it.
