If there is one place that does true justice and has kept the rajasthani folk dance & music alive then it’s this place.Try to come lil early so you can grab the best seats.Mattress are put on the floor for comfort and there are benches too for seating. It’s a amazing time to see all amazing artists perform their suites with amazing discipline, skill and smile! The dances are amazing and graceful, attire is stunningly colorful and all the acts are nothing short of extraordinary. If you are taking pics they charge you 100 Rs ( $ 1.35) and tickets are only 100rs,beware of the street touts !! All in all a 5 ⭐️ place to be with family and kids!

Finally we ( family of 6) visited this absolutely stunning palace rich in history, color & courage.I highly recommend dedicating half of your day and trust me you will come out full of knowledge and love for this beautiful colorful palace. We had hired a guide ( must have) and that turned out to be our best decision. The palace has many different chambers with each offering stunning views indoors & outdoors, rightly this palace is rich in colors.Dont miss the huge parking space for elephants! Yes! Centuries ago elephant was the major mode of travel for the elites and they still have a parking spot for them. All in all a great place to know history and have a good time with your loved ones.
One more tip ..since you will be walking a lot plz wear good walking shoes.

It is truly a great experience at this museum. Located adjoining the FatehSagar Lake, it's a must visit attraction at Udaipur. Also buy the ticket for the 3D cage diving VR experience for Rs 300 for a realistic experience.
Wish they would have noise cancelling headsets or sound proof cabins since outside noise from chattering visitors tends to somewhat mar the VR experience.

Historical museum, nicely kept. It's imagined, created and built and run by a historian and gives us glimpse of thr grand king Maharana Pratap's valour, values and his life. There are 3D shows telling us stories and entire experience is nothing less than what you see in Europe kind of place. It's at a short visit from udaipur..must go, it's just a half day trip and a memorable one.

A place worth visiting for auto-enthusiasts. There are 50 odd cars, jeeps & trucks that are maintained in pristine condition and are still working. I have 2 boys and they had a gala time at the museum!!!!

Bursting with crystal, including beds, chairs and couches, plus enough glasses, in all shapes and sizes, to serve a 300 guest party. No a/c. In a mezzanine overlooking a ballroom. Good toilet. Not a Must See, but if you’re touring the Palace, this is right there and worth 20 minutes.

The place is beautifully designed , with a amphitheatre . It ha slot of tiny shops where local goods are being sold by artisans. There are many things to do and we spotted two decked up camels too available for camel rides. THere are cultural shows happening in the evening but we didnt stay for those.

My girlfriend (experienced painter) and I (beginner) both were able to leave with masterpieces that we will cherish forever. For me, he showed me lots of cool designs to paint and I picked my favorite, a painting of Ganesh. He gave me tips as I went, picked out the right colors for me, and helped with the most detailed parts of my painting. I came out with a professional looking painting that I can proudly say is mine!

For my girlfriend, he provided the materials for her, helped her choose the right colors, and did some of the finishing details when she became tired towards the end.

Throughout the whole time we had a great time chatting with him and the occasional local who would come by with free Chai for us. It was a laid back and enjoyable way to spend the day!

A place of Art is a must visit for paintings. Manish explained about the art of miniature paintings and showed us the most amazing paintings. Radha Krishna paintings and Shrinathji paintings were awesome. Atrue work of intricacy. A collector's item . A treasure trove of paintings. A must visit to support the artisans of this age old art.

Very hardworking and talented person. I saw him working. Due to corona his business is heavily hit. This painting which he has done on a silk cloth is only 800 rupees worth. This same work will sell for 3000 and above in metropolitan cities.
Due to corona, foreigners don't visit him much. I would request Indians to support his worth. He also takes art classes, 600 per class. Absolutely worth it.

Ahar Museum is for the archeology students and not for the common people. The museum houses the stones and pots that were used thousands of years ago. Unless you know something about archeology, the museum won't be a fun visit for you.

While visiting Udaipur there are many interesting things to see and do but take the time to visit Indigo Art School. The gallery is extensive, the staff talented and informative. Stay a while and take a class to really appreciate the focus and attention to detail that goes into every piece of artwork created.

We were referred by our friends and families to visit Om Arts and Crafts white on a vacation trip from US. I was amazed to see the collection that was displayed.

We bought couple of big paintings and a tall Lord Krishna's statue. Mr Kuldeep and the owner spent lots of time with us to make sure all our questions were addressed. I was surprised by their hospitality.

One of the things I was very careful ( and nervous to some extent) was how these items would be shipped to the US and what if the items are broken during shipping. As promised by Om Arts and Crafts, the items were shipped right on time was was delivered flawlessly. The items were so well packed that the FedEx delivery person told me that he hasn't seen such a brilliant packaging so far.

I highly recommend this place. Kudos to their sincerity and honesty. I would certainly buy more from them next time I visit Udaipur.
