The Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace is situated on a hilltop. The palace is made of white marbel, it has a decent architecture. The entry fee is Rs. 110 per pax and vehicle entry is Rs. 305. It was around 5-10 minutes’ drive through well-maintained hill road to reach the palace. We visited the place in the late morning, the palace offers beautiful panoramic view of the city, lakes, palaces and surrounding countryside. However, there is nothing much to explore inside the palace except panoramic views and photo ops. There is a restaurant available on the top, as we didn’t try, hence cannot comment further. Overall a visit may be recommended to witness the beautiful panoramic view.

Maharana Pratap Memorial is located near to the Fateh Sagar Lake and on the top of Moti Margi, overlooking impressive beauty of Lake Fateh Sagar and the city. The Memorial is built to honor the courage and bravery of Maharana Pratap. A life-sized bronze statue of Maharana Pratap along with his loyal horse Chetak is available at the top of the hill. The museum built on the premises of the Memorial has good collections of paintings related to the rich history of Kumbhalgarh and Chittorgarh and few instances from the battle of Haldighati. There are other statues of near and dear ones of Maharana Pratap in the memorial premises such as Bhilu Raja, Bhamashah, Jhalaman, and Hakim Khan Sur. We visited in the evening with our vehicle and paid Rs. 500 towards entry and parking fees. From parking, one can visit the statue at the top by small hiking, alternatively E-Cart is also available for transfer. The view of Fateh Sagar Lake and city from the top is excellent. The premises also offers other activities on payment basis such as folk dance, zip lining etc. Food and souvenirs stalls are available at the starting
point as well as at the top.

Chetak Samadhi is a memorial dedicated to Maharana Pratap's loyal horse Chetak in Haldighati. The horse was severely wounded in the Battle of Haldighati but it still saved Maharana Pratap and died at the same spot where the memorial was built. This place is located very close to Maharana Pratap museum in Haldighati.

The City Palace in fact is a series of palaces, each of the palaces represents unique architectural styles and materials. One of the important parts of the City Palace is the Bada Mahal, which is considered to be the male section of the City Palace. Bada Mahal has an impressive architecture, the intricate carvings on the Palace speak of its unique stature and significance. The interiors of the Palace are decorated with beautifully painted mirrors. The exterior of the Palace is decorated with strong pillars, extensive courtyards, and impressive balconies. A notable visit to witness the rich ancient history.

A calm lakeside stroll brought us to Gangaur Ghat. This is a primary ghat on Lake Pichola, & hosts festive rituals. We spent a few minutes here, absorbing the beauty of the lake.

Without a doubt, the Gangaur Ghat can be cleaner but if you ignore the dirt, it's a decent place to click photographs.
