What travellers are saying
- ARungtaKolkata (Calcutta), India8 contributionsIt is must visit if you are in Ranthambore. Climbing up the stairs is simple. Looks tough but relatively easy if you are not rushing up.Written 7 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Janice NHouston, TX149 contributionsThe park is divided into sectors, so each day you can see different parts of the park--which is nice. The game drives are usually in the early morning and in the afternoon. In winter, it will be to your advantage to bring really warm clothes (ski clothes) because you will be in an open vehicle, and it is REALLY cold, especially in the early mornings! The tigers are definitely there!!Written 25 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

One can watch samber deer and spotted dear roaming near the lake for drinking water. Also one can see crocodiles basking in the sun on the bank of the lake. But spotting tiger was very rare.Written 30 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Devendra GGurugram (Gurgaon), India836 contributionsRanthambore fort is inside the national park. The climb is fairly steep, around an hour. Ideally not recommended for senior citizens. On the top of the fort, Ganesh temple is located which is very ancient. Best time to visit the same would be an early morning trek to the fort.Written 18 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - USAKrsnaChennai (Madras), India551 contributionsIt is a old guest house for important visitors to stay an experience the jungle. If lucky one can see tigers at the banks of the river - but at the garden in the premises peacock can definitely be seen. - SURYANew Delhi, India4 contributionsReligious, holy, sacred and pious Jain Temple open only for those who belong to Jain sect or strictly follow and have belief in Jain principles, i.e., Jinvani; it's not a tourist place where one can just roam around for pleasure. Here one is expected to follow strict decorum i.e., firm belief and devotion to the principles of Jainism and u can't just roam around in half pant, bermuda, off-shoulder, mini, skirt; uncovered body parts which is highly unethical while entering the pious premises.
On 20.03.21, we requested them on mobile for a night stay on 21.03.21 which they allowed us subject to payment of Rs.1000/- for 4-bedded AC Room (Indian/Western Toilet) however upon being fully satisfied that we follow their principles. They have a food canteen, totally serving SATVIK food, i.e., without onion/garlic, and they charge very nominally, i.e., Rs.60/- per plate, fixed menu whether lunch or dinner. They had strict meal timings, i.e., 10.30 AM to 12.00 noon for lunch and 4.45 pm to 5.45 pm for dinner, after which food coupons are not issued to anyone whether the residents in the Temple or guests coming from outside . We reached there around 5.35 pm and purchased 4 coups worth Rs.240/- and had our meals well before 6.15 pm because at that time, there was a rush in the canteen, and therefore we were asked to first check-in our room and then reach quickly to Canteen. Food, containing Aloo-Matar(Potato-Pea) gravy, Yellow-Dal, Chapatis/Rotis, Rice, Pickle was very good, i.e., neither spicy nor oily. Canteen also serve tea @ Rs.20/- per cup; RO Water (free of cost). Quick snacks such as chips/wafers not allowed inside the temple premises.Written 7 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The temple was located on the journey between Jaipur and Udaipur and it took us a long way off the main road. It is located in or near the Ranakpur district which is extremely pretty countryside with streams, lakes etc. It would have been much more enjoyable had we gone straight to Udaipur and then next day did a half-day tour to see the Jain Temple and the lovely Ranakpur countrysideWritten 22 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Viral AryaNew Delhi, India634 contributionsOne of the most famous temples of in Rajasthan. A beautiful temple located on a hilltop with beautiful green surroundings and meadows. To reach the main temple, people needs to climb approx 500 stairs. The temple was built by Maharaja Bhim Singh, who brought the idol of Chauth Mata from the nearby village of Panchala.
The temple is situated in Chauth ka Barwara Village, Sawai Madhopur District, Rajasthan. Trains available from Jaipur and Sawai Madhopur for Chauth ka Barwara Railway Station.Written 25 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Enjoy watching deers, parakeets, chitals, owls and any other animal except the king of the jungle. He has his own will. Maybe the Sanctuary should understand that viewers have come to see the tiger only.Written 31 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dilip SVadodara, India1,122 contributionsWe visited Kachida valley 19.2 Km away from The Ranthambhore Bagh by Gypsy safari via Ranthambhore road taking 45 minutes in the afternoon n 21st June , 2018 . The valley blessed with wide range of flora and fauna is surrounded by low jagged hills . To avoid conflicts with the tigers residing in Ranthambhore National Park , majority of the leopards of the region made the valley as their ancestral home . As there are many large ant hills and bee hives , sloth bears are also abundant here .Written 26 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
